A/N: Prompts from my hubby: Chocolate Frogs, "Give me a moment to think" and Umbridge

"Harry, this is a terrible idea," Hermione hissed in his ear.

"Quiet Hermione," Ron whispered, tugging her back a step, "You'll get us caught."

"If we're worried about being caught, then perhaps we shouldn't be doing the action!"

"She's got it coming, Umbridge has."

"Of course she has, but that doesn't mean we should do it."

"Somebody's got to!"

"Why do-"

"Shut it, both of you," Harry growled, looking away from his mission.

"Sorry," they grumbled together.

"This isn't working." Harry slumped against the desk, running a hand through his messy hair.

"Let me have a go." Ron moved forward. After trying every spell he could think of, he flopped down on his bottom. "It's useless. I should've asked Fred and George for help."

Hermione sighed, "Just give me a moment to think." She closed her eyes tightly, forehead scrunching in concentration. Several times, she moved her wand wordlessly, but the silent spells failed.

The boys had all but given up when she gasped and opened her lids abruptly. Rolling her eyes, she smirked and prodded the chair they were attempting to free of jinxes. A warm breeze passed over them, making it possible for them to put their own spells on the seat.

"Done." She smiled proudly at Ron's admiring look.

"Brilliant," Harry cheered quietly. He moved back into position, placing the dung bombs on the chair just so.

"Perfect." Ron leaned over Harry's shoulder to set the explosion timer jinx on them.

"And lastly," Hermione bit her lip as she made them invisible and added a cushion spell in case Umbridge sat on them before Ron's detonation charm activated.

"Right. Let's get out of here," Harry snickered, glancing at the Marauder's map. "No! Snape's headed this way." He crouched under the invisibility cloak with the others and moved to a line of desks against the far wall. "Stay low."

Ten seconds later, the door opened and Snape slipped inside. He hovered near the door, looking suspicious. Harry wiped sweat from his brow as he watched, waiting to be caught. But then, the door opened again and Filtch hobbled inside.

"You're late," Snape snarled softly.

"I know, Pomona kept me late," he wheezed.

"Have you got it?"

"I do." Filtch held up a carton of skiving snack boxes.

"Are you certain that they are authentic?"

"Took them from the Weasley boys' room myself."

Snape reached for the container, but Filtch snatched his hands away at the last second.

"My payment?"

Snape's lip curled up with distaste. "Two nastily enchanted chocolate frogs." He held them out with two fingers. "For your…favorite twins, I presume."

"Gonna give them a nasty little surprise the next time they break into my office." He shoved the box of treats into Snape's chest, then stumbled from the room, muttering about thieves.

The professor waited until the door closed, then unwrapped a sweet. Gingerly, he bit off one end and blood began to pour from his long nose. He quickly gobbled the other half and grinned, cleaning away the blood with his wand. "Ingenious."

Harry raised eyebrows at the compliment and shared a surprised look with the others. They waited a couple of minutes after Snape left before standing and heading for the door.

"Better warn Fred and George about Filtch's frogs," Hermione muttered.

"Awe, do we have to?" Ron whined, shutting the door silently behind him.
