A/N: This is my first attempt at writing an all dialogue piece, I think it turned out quite well, but tell me what you think. I'm not sure.

Personally, I tend to picture Lucius Malfoy as a man who has a soft side, someone who truly loves his family, listens to them, and would do anything for them. Rather than a cruel, harsh tyrant all of the time. So that's why he may seem a little out of character to some people…

The Name Game

'Lucius!'

'Narcisssa!'

'We need to do this!'

'We've been over this a thousand times!'

'And we still haven't come to a conclusion.'

'You already know where I stand on this matter.'

'How many times do I have to tell you? There is no way I'm calling the baby "Lucius Jr."'

'Well why not?'

'Because first of all, it sounds stupid.'

'Does not…'

'And secondly, I want out child to live his or her own life and not have to spend it in your shadow.'

'But just say…'

'Besides, one Lucius in the house is more than enough.'

'That was somewhat harsh Narcissa.'

'But true. And what about if we have a girl? Have you thought about that?'

'Of course I have. What do you take me for? I'm thinking "Lucius Jr.". After all, it's unisex.'

'It's NOT unisex!'

'But…'

'No.'

'Fine. But now that you mention it, I do have a suggestion for a girl's name you might like.'

'Really?'

'Really. Since you don't like "Lucius Jr.", what about Lucy?'

'Seriously?'

'No. Not Sirius. Lucy.'

'Lucius, that's just a variation of your name.'

'No it's not.'

'Yes it is'.

'Is not.'

'Is too.'

'Is not.'

'Is too.'

'Maybe just a little one….Oh don't give me that look Narcissa!'

'Lucius, in case you haven't noticed, I'm almost eight and a half months pregnant, I can't see my toes, and we still haven't found a name. I'm starting to get annoyed.'

'You know, it can't be healthy for the baby, you getting all cranky like this.'

'One more smart arse comment from you Lucius and I swear I will kill you. Literally kill you.'

'You can't do that.'

'Give me one good reason why not.'

'Because you love me.'

'You think that's going to stop me?'

'It will if I kiss you.'

'I don't think…'

'See.'

'This isn't over.'

'Of course not Dear.

'Any other helpful suggestions?'

'What about Lucian?'

'That's just another variation on your name. No.'

'But…'

'No.'

'Then have you got any ideas?'

'What about Draco?'

'After the school motto? You are joking aren't you?

'I think it's cute.'

'Well then, if we're going to do that, why don't we just call him "Titillandus" or "Nunquam"?

'Lucius, calm down, you're being ridiculous.'

'Am I Narcissa? Am I?'

'Yes, you are. Now take a deep breath.'

'Well, I still like "Lucius Jr."'

'Of course you do Dear, and stop grumbling.'

'Why Draco anyway?'

'I like it. It means "Dragon" in Latin, you know.'

'That is quite cute I suppose.'

'And it works well with the family name. Draco Malfoy… Draco Malfoy…'

'Draco Lucius Malfoy.'

'It's a good thing you can't hear me roll my eyes.'

'I know.'

'Fine. I'll give you that one. But don't look so smug about it.'

'Yes dear.'

'Forgetting something?'

'I love you.'

'That's better. I love you too.'

'So we're settled? Draco Lucius Malfoy?'

'I think so.'

'But what if the baby's not a boy? What if he's a she? Then what are we going to name her?'

'Oh, that's easy.'

'Really?'

'Of course. We'll name her "Narcissa Jr.".
