Cersei, Joffrey and Tywin Lannister sat together in the Throne Room of the Red Keep in Kings Landing. The small council, Lady Margaery Tyrell, Sansa Stark and many other Lords and guards were present at the feast, too. The Lannisters in the room were waiting for news from House Frey of the twins, regarding the wedding that was supposed to be the end of House Stark.
Due to heavy losses in direct confrontations with the Starks and their Banner men and a still ongoing war with Stannis Baratheon, the Lord of Casterly Rock had to use more underhanded tactics to rid himself of his foes. Tywin couldn't wait to finally hear about the defeat of the rebellious Wolves of the North and hoped that his message would finally come across to everyone doubting their family, if you rouse the Lion, prepare to die. Not for a minute did he think about the possibility of failure.
While Tywin was thinking about the glorious defeat of another foe and the gaining of prestige and respect that would follow, Cersei was indulging in one of the only thing she had in common with her deformed little brother, Wine.
King Joffrey watched bored with the proceedings, hoping that the news of the death of the Northerners would finally reach Kings Landing, to torture the stupid Stark Cunt further.
All three of them looked up as the door opened and a man, with flat blonde hair and dull brown eyes, looking like the definition of averageness entered. The whole room had fallen into silence. Walking through the crowd and up to the Throne in which Joffrey sat he looked down, as a sign of respect and spoke "Your Grace, I bring news from the Twins."
Leaning forward in eagerness all three Lannisters waited with bated breath, while the other occupants of the room watched in confused silence, for the Messenger to speak. Smirking the Messenger looked briefly at Sansa who saw the eyes of the messenger flash into a familiar venom green. Preparing herself she took a deep breath, waiting expectantly for the Chaos that was surely about to happen.
At the urging of Joffrey, who had grown impatient with waiting, the messenger continued "The Starks received your regards graciously."
Which caused all three of the Lannisters to smirk. Just as Joffrey was about to renew the festivities, the Messenger continued "And send them right back."
Before anyone could react the messenger moved, stabbing Joffrey straight through the larynx, in a way that his body was pinned upright to the backrest of the Iron Throne. A smokescreen robbed every person in the room their eyesight and as it lifted itself Sansa was missing.
Tywin walked over to Joffrey's Dead Body and looked at the dagger, a Direwolf embroidered in it's handle with three words engraved next too it Winter is Coming…
