Tell me that you want to dance;

I want to feel your p u l s e on mine.

To feel as light as a feather, even when the world weighs you down, is the most wonderful thing in the world. To feel your body discover the rhythm in the music around you, to feel it sway to the notes without the worry of feeling silly is the most reassuring thing in the world.

To feel his hands on your waist pulling you in closer to him; to feel his warm breath on your ear as you listen to him whisper about nothings and everythings; to nervously swallow the lump in your throat and think it's pathetic to be feeling these things, because it all might just be a dream, a fantasy, one big lie… absolutely breathtaking.

To dance mindlessly in circles without ever getting dizzy is exhilarating. To never lose your balance because he's always supporting you is lovely. To smile because he's telling you you're actually not that bad at dancing is hilarious.

To realize he's looking at you, only you… heart-stopping.

To see the people around you start to disappear because he's all you can look at is calming. To see that the lights have grown dim because your eyes are slowly shutting, is a wish come true.

Watch it now; here it comes.

To feel his lips crash into yours and wash away all of your doubt… mind-blowing.

To feel his hands in your hair is invigorating. To know that, even when you pinch yourself afterwards, it's not all just a dream. This is for real.

And then you realize that this is something you truly want.

And that thought alone is simply... p a r a l y z i n g.

Just treat me like a -stolen- glance

A/N: This is just drabble. Nothing special or anything. Although, I am pretty happy with the outcome.

The "tell me that you want to dance" thing is actually from a song, "The Golden Floor" by Snow Patrol. The song doesn't really have anything to do with this story, other than the fact that it's about dancing. Also, it's been stuck in my head for DAYS and I guess that's what motivated/inspired me to write this. It's a good song; I'd recommend it. Listening to it while reading this is actually pretty cool...

I just wanted to capture a moment where Nagihiko and Rima are dancing with each other, other than their "Queens Waltz" thing. And I know that Rima would probably be opposed and reluctant to dancing with Nagihiko at first, but the moment I wanted to focus on with this story... is more or less when her negative thoughts are gone, and Nagihiko is gradually sweeping her off her feet... or something like that. Heh.

I wrote this in present tense and second person... for once. I usually don't do that. SO that's cool, I guess... I'd like to know how you think I did with that, even though it's short.

So yeah, review if you'd like. x]
