"I grow weary of this place my child. I wish to feel the sun on my face again," Godric's voice sounded tired to Eric's ears.
"No! You cannot leave me Godric," thick red rivulets streamed rolled their way down Eric's Nordic face , "I will keep you alive by force if necessary." Eric was adamant about keeping his maker alive.
"You would do that to me?" Godric sounded incredulous as he gazed down upon the giant blond vampire. "The one woman I love is dead, my entire family is gone and I am tired Eric. It is time."
"I can't lose you too Godric," Eric wept loudly as he rested his head against Godric, "I won't let you die alone."
"As your maker," Eric let loose with a roar knowing the next words Godric would be speaking, "I command you to go inside," Eric rose and walked to the staircase where Sookie stood.
"I'll stay with him until it's time." She whispered as she grasped at Eric's hand. He nodded and walked inside.
Sookie walked over towards Godric with tears running down her face.
"You cry for me? A human cries human tears for me a vampire who has killed thousands?"
"You have good in you. I could see it when you spoke of your love. Tell me about her." Sookie knew it was risky asking him about something so personal but she wanted anything to pass the time.
"It was before I was turned. 2000 years ago. Gaul. I was a slave and she was the daughter of my master. We fell in love when we were young before I was changed. I knew once I changed I could never be with her. I couldn't force her innocence into a life of death and darkness with me." He spoke lowly as he looked out over the Dallas skyline.
"She was tiny. A sprite of a girl. Her hair as dark as the darkest night and her eyes were the richest of brown. What everybody knew her for was her voice. It was rich and smooth and beautiful just like her." A small stream of red dripped from his eye as he thought about the girl he loved so truly.
"What was her name?" Sookie asked and as Godric opened his mouth they heard another voice from the direction of the stairs.
"My name is Malorix," Her soft voice reached them from near the stair case causing Godric to spin with vampire speed, "Godric my love it is time to come in. I have finally found you my love and I refuse to lose you now." Her voice flitted to them like the wings of a thousand butterflies. Godric was cradling her in his arms in seconds her face in both of his hands.
"Du kan inte vara riktigt min kärlek," He whispered as he ran his thumb along her lips.
"Oh but I am Godric. I am real and I am here. Come. We must get inside the hotel. You cannot meet the sun today." Malorix said as she started dragging Godric towards the stairs.
Sookie smiled as the two ran inside forgetting about her on the roof like the two reunited lovers they were. She smiled as she walked back to her room. As she went to open her door the door behind her opened and she was yanked into Eric Northman's room.
"Where is he? How long did it take? Tell me now!" Eric loomed over her barraging her with questions not giving her a single moment to answer. She clapped a hand over his mouth.
"He's fine. Alive, and I think he's happy," Eric's eyebrow rocketed up.
"He's alive? What happened?" I relayed the story of what happened on the rooftop causing Eric to smile.
"Malorix? She's alive?" Sookie nodded.
"She said she was turned three years after Godric and had been searching for him ever since…. At least that's what I heard. They went to his room after she talked him off the roof." It was the happiest I had ever seen Eric when I told him that his maker was finally happy again.
