"...Hey Kageyama?" Hinata walked up to the setter after practice had ended. The taller boy was drinking from his water bottle but looked at him and stopped when Hinata appeared next to him.

"Yeah?" The raven-haired boy asked, curious what would come out of the redhead this time.

"I know what you should be for Halloween..." Hinata started wringing his hands nervously and smiling brightly, like he did as he was about to say a joke.

"Continue," Kageyama said, eyeing the other suspiciously as he waited in anticipation for an answer.

"You should be... A KING!" Hinata turned quickly and started running around the gym, fully knowing Kageyama was going to be pissed at his suggestion.

"HINATA! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, DAMMIT!" He got up and started chasing the adorable little ball of sunshine around. He could be the sun for Halloween... Because his smile is so bright it could blind someone.

Finally, he caught up to Hinata. But instead of just grabbing his wrist or turning him around like usual, Kageyama jumped on the smaller boy, making sure not to crush him.

"Ahh-AH!" Hinata yelled when he fell, barely catching himself with his wrists, which now hurt. "What'd you do that for?" He whined, turning around as best he could with the other boy still on top of him.

"Well, how else was I supposed to stop you, Dumbass?" He replied, shifting a little so that the boy under him would feel more comfortable. "Anyways... Yeah, I'll be a king..."

"...But only if you're my queen." He leaned down and kissed the boy's nose with a slight smile.

"Hey, Kageyama?" Hinata looked up at his setter with the brightest smile he's ever worn, "I think... I think I love you."

"I think I love you too, Dumbass." Kageyama smiled and got up, helping Hinata up and giving him a proper kiss. On the lips this time.
