Okay so I had written this a long time ago for an English project about Romeo and Juliet and some poem that we had read in class. It is basically a modern(ish) description of a scene from Romeo and Juliet using specific lines. I hope people will still like it even if Shakespeare is not their cup of tea, as it is not mine.

I have no idea if this will actually work but I'm turning it into BTR cause, well I turn everything into BTR.

I do not own Big Time Rush, Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, or the idea of the poem, just the writing.

At first the surprise of seeing you

Sitting alone at the ball

Surely someone as beautiful as yourself should never be alone

That's when I knew I had to meet you

Had to dance with you

Had to kiss those lips of yours

I approached you slowly

Took your hand in mine and pulled you to your feet

And so as if the words were destined to be spoken

I said:

"If I profane with my unworthiest hand

This holy shrine, the gentle sin is this:

My lips two blushing pilgrims, ready to stand

To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss"

I listened to your witty replies

Knowing you would be more difficult then all the rest

But that did not sway me from my plan

I knew that I loved you

And from the moment our lips met

I knew you loved me too

It was clear that there was no going back

Those were the words I repeated in my head

As I approached your balcony that night

I could hear you talking to the sky

Not knowing that I was down bellow

You confessed your love for me then

Unaware that I could hear every word of it

I made a choice

I had to show myself to you

And let you know that I felt the same way

"O, speak again, bright angel, for thou art

As glorious to this night, being o'er my head"

You were startled to know I was there

But you did not turn me down

You admitted to me how you wished we could be

But, alas, we may not

For you are a Diamond, and I a Mitchell

A rose by any other name, as you had put it

Just some other name…
