They say when you spend time with the one you love, that time seems to slow and nothing matters but them.

"Sei! Look look! We finally made it!" Lovino's happy voice broke through the quiet that had fallen over their car ride. They had landed in a Italian airport an hour ago, and were moved to a private car. Akashi had made a few comments but was a bit worn out from the long flight and so he was content to just listen to Lovino. It would be their first big trip together outside of Japan and Lovino was overly excited to show off his homeland to Akashi.

"Oh Oh! There's my dance studio, and there the cafe I always go to, oh and that's the spot that Sara tackled me for being late one time." The Italian spoke quickly, pointing out small and large places that he's been to. They were only a few blocks from his house now, and if it wasn't so late. Lovino would have insisted on them walking. Though before he could even get the suggestion out of his mouth, Akashi had said no, making the model believe the red head could read minds.

A yawn broke past Lovino's mouth, and he calmed down some as the drive slowly came to an end. Their driver got out their stuff and took it inside while Lovino checked around his house. He stopped at the front door and just smile. "Home sweet home. What do you think Sei?" He asked the tired red head next to him. Akashi raised an eyebrow, looking over the modest home before back at the grinning model. "It's lovely Lovino. I'm not much surprised that you don't live in a larger home though." He replied, smiling every so slightly. The model shrugged, as if to say he didn't want a bigger house and what he has is fine. "It's been so long since I was here, I wonder if Romero and Duchess killed each other." He mused, taking the red heads hand and pulling him inside. "I told you about my cat, Duchess right?"

The rest of their night was spent unpacking a little, have a late snack and then heading off to bed. Lovino told Akashi that he wanted to show the other around his home town some tomorrow and that he would need a good nights sleep. So, with a soft kiss, Lovino shooed him off to bed. The Italian finished unpacking and cleaned up a bit more before he too headed off to bed. The have a big day tomorrow.

Morning came around a bit too soon for them, though Akashi didn't let it be known while Lovino spent the whole time making breakfast while whining about how the sun should not shine so bright. The up turn of his lips was the only sign Lovino got that showed Akashi was amused. "What do you have planned for us today, Lovino?" The red head question as they ate breakfast. He did not want to go through the whole day not knowing what was going on.

"I need to stop by the dance studio and make sure the girl I hired is still doing okay, then I want to show you the docks. There's a pirate ship that is always seen just off the coast just before the sun sets. So that can come later. Oh, and I want to take you to meet my parents. There's also this great little park with a fountain in the middle." He was marking off the places with his fingers, thinking of all he would want to show Akashi.

As he rambled on about another cool place, he didn't see Akashi get up, or hear the foot steps across the floor. He did feel the hands gently cup his cheeks, making him pause in what he was saying to look up into mismatched eyes. "Sei….?" He asked, but the red head only smirked a little and leaned down to kiss him softly. Lovino easily kissed back, and was a bit breathless when they broke apart. "I'm sure where ever you take me will be fun." Akashi spoke up softly, moving back to sit down. Lovino just nodded, blushing darkly as he went back to eating. Coming to Italy during their vacation was a perfect idea.
