I don't own Gargoyles or any of its characters.
Angela's Cat and Brooklyn's Dog
It was a cool September evening in the city of Manhattan. Among the skies was a pair of gargoyles patrolling the moon-lit sky and the ground below them. They were observing to see if any trouble were to rise up and to see if any help was needed. There was one male who had charcoal-red skin and a female with lavender skin. They would never suspect that their newest friend would stay with them crisis after crisis.
Angela, the lavender gargoyle, spoke in a pleasing tone, "It sure is a nice evening." "It sure is, Angela," speaks Brooklyn in an assuring voice. They talked about the days among the clan members.
Suddenly, Brooklyn sees a group of gangsters beating on some kind of animals. Angela stares down in shock and horror as the gang members beat on the two poor, defenseless animals. Both of their eyes glow like beacons, and they growl in frustration. "Let's go rescue them and beat up those thugs." "I'm with you, Angela," avowed Brooklyn.
They bellowed out an astonishing roar as the thugs look up in alertness and fear. One of the thugs croaked, "It's one of those flying monsters." "Shoot, trash, and kill it, boys," said the ringleader of the group. One shoots the male gargoyle, but he dodges every shot. "You shouldn't play with guns," said Brooklyn as he grabs the gun and crushes the gun into little pieces with his bare hands. He then throws the guy into a dumpster. Another guy charges at full speed, and he plows the charcoal warrior into the floor. He kicks the guy in the gut, and the guy stumbles over to his friend in front of him. His friend and the thick dude run as Brooklyn picks up a trash can and throws it at them, rendering them unconscious. Angela faces off against the husky ringleader known to the thugs as Brick. After a long struggle, Angela beats him into submission. She finishes him by knocking him out with a Texas roundhouse punch to Brick's thick jawbone.
Pleased with their work, they wrap it up by throwing them in the dumpster. Suddenly, a bark and a meow spook the two gargoyles. "Look, Brooklyn," said Angela in a peaceful tone. Standing in the light were the two animals that got hurt by Brick and his thugs. One of them was a German shepherd, Great Dane, and Siberian husky hybrid. He looked to be a dog in his prime, all full of muscle and zero fat. The other one was a big fat orange cat that resembled Cagney. It too was in its prime. Angela could tell the animals were hungry and have been tortured by their previous owners.
"Let's take them home. I just feel very sorry for them. I am sure Father wouldn't mind having a protector during the day." Brooklyn agreed with Angela's testimony. "Alright, let's take them to the castle and see how Goliath reacts to them." They take the dog and the cat back to the castle.
Seeing Angela's concern and love for the animals and Brooklyn reminding him of the issue of protection during the day, Goliath gladly accepts the two animals. The clan feeds the two grateful animals and brings them back into health. The pets are all introduced into the clan, and they become a part of the clan. Angela names her cat, Fluffy. Brooklyn named his dog Derek, after Elisa's brother. The proud pets went on many adventures with their family. They would be happy with their newfound owners and their clan forever more for all time.
