Sakura looked out the window of her room, raindrops falling from the sky...
Just like the tears that were falling from her eyes.
Damn it! She was so stupid believing the fairy tale they were creating, believing him. He lied. And she believed. That's how things go. At least, that's how things go for her.
It wasn't unusual for guys to lie, they all lie, their whole lives, breaking hearts, making girls cry. And thinking nothing of it. They just move on to the next girl.
And that's what happened to her. She had cried. She cried three weeks in a row, simply breaking down at any moment. Like, seeing a couple making out, or watching a romance movie.
She was still crying.
She was sostupid...
Well a lot had changed in three weeks. She became what he wanted, what he seeked. What he needed.
She didn't love the sky anymore, she didn't love the sun, and she definitely didn't love him anymore. Now, as she passed him by, she would look at him with an empty look in her eyes, because she hatedhim now. She hated him, because of him she couldn't say those three special words, "I love you"anymore, not to anyone, and she didn't, couldn't, believe in fairy tales, not anymore.
Now it's just her alone against the world.
But still, even if she didn't want to admit it, in her heart…
She Had Believed.
She had put all of her hopes in him; she had had faith in him. But, he hadn't put all of his hopes in her; he hadn't had faith in her.
The first week was the worst. All she did was cry, drink (so she could squeeze out more tears), and sleep. Eat sometimes.
The second week was a little better. She would go outside, no where far, just sit on her porch at night and watch the stars.
It was amazing how you could look at the sky and see the past.
The last week, however, was full of surprises-no, it was full of changes. She started drinking on daily, and she even started smoking, something she would have never done before.
When she was drunk, she didn't feel the pain, she washappy. But only for a short time. Then, she would sober up, and start crying. The pain would come back, slowly killing her from the inside...
She Had Believed.
He had lied.
That's how things go in life.
.
"Why not?"
"...I believed and you… You lied..."
