A/N: Why. No. Kishimoto you bastard. Chapter 614 better be a dream. Nightmare. Unreal. No. You... No.

"Hi Neji," she whispered, clutching the small bouquet. "I got you something."

He said nothing, and in her mind, he was smiling. "What is it, Tenten?" He would've said.

She grinned from ear to ear. "Flowers. I remembered what today is."

Even though he didn't show it, he thought deeply about what she was talking about. At least, she thought he did.

She nodded her head, sitting before him. "It's the anniversary of our team. Our genin team," She whispered, voice faltering, "before, ya know."

If Neji could've shown it, he would've nodded and contradicted her for remembering such an occasion. Instead, the face of stone remained indifferent.

"I know, I know. But still, that day, we became ninja," she giggled, looking up, "and I met you."

No feeling was shown, and the rock remained still.

She frowned. "You don't like it?"

"Yes." He would've said. "Yes, but why lilacs?"

She smiled. "Like your eyes."

"Hn. Alright."

She nodded, then heard a rustling sound behind her. A small boy with white eyes and bright hair approached her. "Tenten-nee-chan, what are you doing here?"

She stood, and stepped quietly to the boy. "Just visiting, Niru-kun. Say, where's your mother?"

The boy sighed. "With daddy."

She blew out through her lips quickly. "So, Hokage tower?"

He nodded.

She started towards the Hyuuga Compound. "Alright then. I need to talk to them about something, involving the rogue ninja in-"

"Why do you always hang around here, nee-chan?"

She stopped in her tracks.

"I was wondering the same thing."

"There aren't any real people here for you to talk to."

"Now I'm offended."

Biting her lip, tenten faced the eight year old.

The spitting image of Naruto, though with the byakugan eyes of his mother. She stared into them, and got lost in them, as she always used to with Neji.

"Well, Tenten-nee-chan thinks they have a pretty garden here." She answered with a twitch of her pinkie finger.

Niru furrowed his brow and stared at her. "Nee-chan is lying." Holding up his pinkie, he wiggled it, demonstrating. "Nee-chan always does this when she's lying."

Her eyes showed admiration and fear. He was so much like his uncle. She sighed.

"Niru-kun," she said, sitting onto the grass, "do you know who this is?" She pointed to where Neji was.

Following her finger earnestly, his eyes widened at the name etched into the stone.

Neji Hyuuga.

"Nee-chan, that-"

"This is the hero of the Hyuuga clan's resting place." she whispered.

"You..."

"I grew up with him." She said, glassy eyed. "I love him."

The boy was silent for a moment before he ran over to her and gave her a hug.

"Nee-chan... Stop crying..."

She snuffled and held his small hand in hers, turning once more at the tombstone. "See ya later Neji, I gotta take care of your nephew."

If he could, Neji would've nodded.

"Goodbye Tenten."
