Perfect for Each Other

He couldn't believe it. His two best friends were married. It wasn't Harry, Ron, and Hermione anymore. It was just Ron and Hermione.

Now he knew that wasn't completely true. They had been through too much for a marriage to get in the way of friendship. And he did have Ginny. He looked down the table at her. He was one lucky man.
He always knew it would come to this. He imagined one day, he's be the best man at their wedding.

He cleared his throat, "Um excuse me," the room went quiet,"erm, well Ron told me I could get a speech, and I think I'd like to give it a go."
Hermione looked a little afraid. This gave him a smile and some confidence to continue.
" My two best friends just got married. On looks beautiful," he smiled at Hermione, "and the other one...well, they cleaned up okay...considering..." he trailed off shrugging. Ron punched him lightly in the side.

"But let me tell you, being friends with these two isn't easy. First off, neither one of them ever shuts up. Not a second of quite. Hell! Ron talks even talks in his sleep!" the audience laughed at this, while Ron went red.

"Also, I was friends with these two for seven years before they got around to hooking up - in the middle of war I might add, horrible timing really- and let me tell you...sexual tension. Believe me. I sat in between them in class, at meals, in the common room. Now while these two might not know this, I saw everything. I saw Ron staring at Hermione reading- something he does to this day- I saw Hermione staring at him while he was unaware. I saw Ron writing letter after letter after letter to Hermione. I saw our Hermione -very uncharacteristically -doodling Hermione Weasley in her Charms books. " Hermione gasped, glaring daggers at him, "I was there comforting her when Ron was snogging other girls. The first person she admitted to loving Ron to, was me. I saw her shut down after Ron left," Ron grimaced, "and saw the light come back to her eyes, as she abusued him after seeing him again for the first time again.

I've heard Ron mutter her name in his sleep. I was there when all he could do was scream her name, when what he wanted to do was take her place.

These two are perfect for eachother in every single way. And they love each other for their faults. And they help eachother. Hermione is the only one who can shut Ron up and Ron is the only one who can make her stop studying and socialize.

There screaming matches are scary as hell, as anyone who was ever in the Gryfinndor common room in the 6 years we were there could tell you. But you know what's scarier than that? Being pulled into them

.
But I going to stop talking and dance with my beautiful girlfriend. But just know, these two? Perfect for each other. I could talk about them forever. They are my favorite people in this world. And let's face it. I'd be dead without em...which kinda means you would be too. "

Everyone clapped and laughed, turning back to their conversations.
He bent down and whispered in Hermiones ear, "I call godfather!"
"You've got it" She whispered back.
He winked at Ron, grabbed his girlfriend's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor.
Over Ginny's shoulder he saw Hermione blush as Ron said something to her. He smiled and looked down at Ginny.

Perfect.

AN: This was much shorter. I'm not confindent with this one. I don't really feel comfortable writing in Harry's POV. Thank you for reading :)

Also I won't probably ever update twice in a day again. I just already had these written. :)
