The cold tension hit hard. He never expected it to end like this. He shook his head; dark brown hair swaying like a dancing fire. No, this wasn't the end...

... it was only the beginning ...

He continued to stare into the thick blanket of darkness; the door creaking slowly behind him as the cold air swirled around the crinkling shimmering light of the swimming pool. The under water lights fluttering as if they were celestial butterflies, dancing in the dark.

He grumbled to him self. It almost seemed to peaceful of a place, to have been so filled with so much melancholy, so much pain. And yet, tonight. It seemed tranquil.

A gentle rapping echoed around the floor as he walked. Taking small yet proud steps. Slowly pivoting on his heels. Glancing, observing, looking. Before he began edge toward the uncontrollable liquid; reflections of the butterflies shining onto his body. Brightening up his dark suit.

'I brought you a little getting to know you present.'

Only the silence answered. The unknowing yet all powerful creature, one that could see right into you. But not him. So it just waited. Patiently..

'Its what it's all been for isn't it? All your little puzzles, making me dance'

He glanced at the small usb stick trapped between his pale fingers a smile creped across his face.

..All to distract him from this..

There was a small clattering behind him. The noise enhanced by the all but willing silence of the room. He turned. Quick. But elegant, like a cat. He stared. The small smile denigrated instantly only to be replace by a slow look of horror as he began to take in what he saw... This had to be a dream, a hallucination anything but the truth. Anything..

this was one he never saw coming.

'..John..'
