What can I say? I am a sucker for exploring, or exploiting, minor characters that no one seems to give the proper amount of attention to. This time it is Seri, a Styracodon princess who Mike meets in Volume Four of the Mirage comics. Enjoy!

Drizzle
I had never been to Hawaii before. Isn't that funny? All the places in the universe I've set foot on, dimensions I've ventured, and countries I've traveled and never once have I come to Hawaii. It's a turtle's paradise, a reptile's great sanctuary.
I liked to think that if my brothers and I had lived in Honolulu rather than New York we could have grown up fat, lazy, and with a wicked awesome accent.
On the other hand, I would have never landed this kick ass job and never started this guided tour with her.
Seri wasn't too far from me. She was kinda basking the way I told her human girls do, bikini and all. I have to admit that the flattery of scandally clad women doesn't always transfer between species and our Styracodon princess wasn't much of an exception.
I didn't mind, though. Something about Seri is unavoidably sexy to me.
I know what you're thinking: Michelangelo, you dirty boy, get your mind out of the gutter!
It's not that way, though. Really.
I like Seri. I really do. I don't know why it is or even how it got so far. I don't know. I just know I like her and I liked her right then on the beach.
"My skin feels tight, I think I'm doing this wrong," Seri had rather suddenly said.
I did a quick look about, making sure those pesky guards of her's weren't around. Those snarling behemoths scared the hell out of me but, luckily, they weren't on the beach just then. I made my way over to her and – what else? – made a move.
My fingers curled over her shoulder and I moved my thumbs circularly around her blades. They were hot and stick with…sweat? Hell if I know. I never exactly took extraterrestrial anatomy.
"I like you, Michelangelo," Seri purred. "Tell me more about this island."
In my mind I was groaning. History buff I most certainly was not. No, I got this 'tourist' job because the utrom council liked my charisma and because they figured they owed my brothers and me. But I wasn't stupid. I had Don on speed dial.
As soon as we landed somewhere for a tour I gave my bro a call and got the SparkNotes version of what to say and where to go. Though, now that I think about it, I should probably try to figure out where Don learned all this crap. That's kinda random.
"I think you'd be most interested in the last queen of Hawaii!" I exclaimed with a knowing grin. She looked back at me with the same wide-eyed wonder a child has when listening to a bedtime story. I continued. "Her name was Liliuokalani."
A wide grin on her face, Seri turned more toward me. "What did she do?"
Still I grinned back at her, beaming with confidence. I had no idea what Liliuokalani did. Don went on a tangent and I stopped listening.
I was saved, though, as a drizzle of water came from the sunny sky, causing us both to look up at the willowy clouds.
She curled up next to me; no doubt remembering the thunder cloud which stormed near our planed on the way from New York to Hawaii.
"Oh, no! We'll have to go in," Seri muttered. "I was liking it out here, too."
I smirked and wrapped an arm around her. "Nah, this isn't a storm. Just a drizzle." I pointed up to the sky as the rain stopped and the sun shined on. "The clouds are gone now. No worries, Princess. You can still have your fun in the sun."
Seri grinned at me and laid down across my lap, making my stomach flip flop. The heat must have been getting to me… "I am so glad you are the one showing me around the Earth. You know everything, Michelangelo."
I laughed.
"No. Not everything."
