Akira Hayato. 13.

My parents are dead. No, I don't have a somber story to go with it, like 'my parents died while fighting…' and all that crap. I don't know how the hell my parents died. But I expect to find out soon. I do not know much of my parents, all I know is their name, when they were born, and how strong they were. Both betrayed their village, both killed the innocent and the guilty, both are members of the Akatsuki.

It has been a three years since they died, and it has been 13 years that I have been suffering. The Akatsuki just wanted me to be part of them because of my power, that I, myself don't even know nothing about. They trained and punished me… but they also helped me. But that wasn't enough for me to not leave. I just wanted to live a simple life, have friends, get a job, and live peacefully. But who the hell was I kidding? I'll never have a simple life.

It wouldn't hurt to try though.

---

My plan was simple. When they were all in a mission, I pretend to go training, go back to the base after a few minutes, go inside the data room, look at the files, and leave without a trace. Where? Wherever my trail leads me. Like I said my plan was simple, but it was not easy.

I went downstairs and told them that I'll be outside training, the remaining members were getting ready to leave. "Goodbye," I told them waving. They also waved at me and hurried along. I went to my training place, which wasn't far from the base.

I have the Akatsuki's trust, and now I'm about to break it. I wonder if it was worth it. Who was I god damn kidding, of course it was! When I thought the time, I hurried off to base. When I reached there, I cloned myself.

"Act normal. Don't make them suspicious." The clone nodded and I ran off to the data room. I grabbed the doorknob and twisted it. It was locked. I took off a pin from my hair and tried to open the door. Click. I opened the door and saw about four drawers. 'Crap.' And all of them were locked too. It took awhile to open all of them, and none of them had useful information.

I needed information about me, about my parents, and about my family. I sat down and sighed, "I give up." Just then I spotted a metal thing under the table. My eyes widen 'I secret compartment, of course!' I had to use a pass code of some sort for this. I heard the door from outside close. Pain, I thought.' My eyes widen and I got nervous that I thought my heart was going to explode.

I heard footsteps from outside. And every second it was getting louder and louder. I felt tears dripping on my face, thinking that I was going to die.

Then, it came through me, I suddenly knew what the code was. Pain had said it once, saying numbers to Konan. I don't know how, but thank God. The foot steps were closer now. I entered the code and there was a folder full of papers that said CONFIDENTIAL on the front. The footsteps were loud, the person was just outside the door. I grabbed the floder. CLICK. I jumped out of the window, and with full speed I ran.

The person was following me, I looked behind and saw Tobi. I ran faster and made clones of myself to fight him off for distraction. I ran as fast as my feet can take, a kunai missed me by an inch from my face.

I guess a simple life isn't that easy. I sighed and faced Tobi, ready to fight him.
