The bedroom was still dark and glowing silver from the full moon outside when Kuroo Tetsurou tip toed inside. A plastic bag dangled from the teens fingers as he slowly approached the bed. Kuroo placed the bag aside and began pulling the blankets away, unveiling a curled up and soundlessly asleep Kenma.

"Kenma..." Kuroo shook the younger teens shoulder, knowing Kenma was a light sleeper and the slightest touch would wake him. On queue, the Nekoma setter stirred in his sleep. He mumbled words, or perhaps they were just sounds, Kuroo couldn't really tell but he chuckled anyway.

"Kenma, wake up." Kuroo spoke softly into the setters ear.

"Kuroo, too early..." The blonde teen managed to speak actual words. Kenma uncurled himself and sat up, only to reach for the blankets that had been taken from him. Once the cotton fabric was in his possession, the blonde teen pulled them over his head, returning to his previous curled up position. Kuroo laughed as he watched his teammate struggle to get comfortable again.

"I guess you don't want this then..." The dark haired teen grabbed the plastic bag he had brought into the room with him. Kuroo took the plastic game case out of the bag and began peeling off the thin layer of plastic that surrounded it. He popped open the game and turned his head just enough to see the younger teen peeking out from under the blankets, his gold eyes blazing.

"What's that Kuroo?"

"Oh this? Nothing you'd be interested in..." A grin was plastered to the older teens face as he watched Kenma from the corner of his eye. The younger teen had slowly inched himself out from under the blankets to get a better look at the thing in his captains hands. Kuroo reached for the black handheld gaming console that Kenma always left on the bedside table. He popped the tiny game chip into the slot and switched the console on.

"Kuroo?" Kenma's voice was wide awake and alert as the start screen music began playing from the gaming console. Kuroo turned his attention to the younger teen, a wider grin than before stretched across his darkly lit features.

"Yes Kenma, this is what you think it is. Yours truly ventured out into the freezing cold night, half way across town, two trains and a short cab ride to get this for you." Kuroo beamed, proud of his adventure. Kenma however was solely focused on the brightly lite screen that the Nekoma captain held in his hands. The setter tackled Kuroo, swiping the gaming console out of the older teens hands.

"Wha-? Kenma!" Kuroo sat dumb folded. Kenma ignored his teammate, too absorbed in the text flashing across the tiny screen to care what the other teen was saying.

"A simple 'Thank you' would have been fine..." Kuroo grumbled, clearly upset with Kenma's lack of appreciation. The dark haired teen frowned as he was ignored yet again.

Kuroo grabbed the discarded blankets that were a jumbled mess in the center of the bed, and pulled them around himself, wanting nothing more than sleep now as his adventure had drained him more than he had expected. As the minutes passed and the music from the game changed as Kenma passed level after level, Kuroo felt the bed shift and a heavy weight press against him.

"Thank you Kuroo..." Kenma whispered so quietly that the Nekoma captain almost didn't hear it. A small smile made its way onto Kuroo's lips. The dark haired teen reached his arm out and wrapped it around Kenma's waist, pulling him closer.

"You're very welcome Kenma..." Kuroo mumbled as the sound of the games music slowly lulled him to sleep.

A Spur-of-the-moment fic. I found a cute fanart on Tumblr of Kuroo waiting in line for a game for Kenma & well I wanted to write something kind of related to it I guess.

First Haikyuu! Fic! :) Probably not the last as I have a couple started, but idk if they'll ever get finished T_T (Such bad writers block! DX)

Hope this little KuroKen moment was to your liking~
