The man in the cage.

Hmm….I've never done a one-shot before….This is my first one….Hmmmm…. Enjoy!

I will be away from Thursday to Monday, so there won't be any updates till about Tuesday!

The man sat, his now curly raven black hair falling down his shoulders, one precious lock of it falling in front of his face as he slowly lowered his head. He remembered the times when he was powerful, when he was free. When he wasn't caged up like an animal.

He looks up, seeing the world fly by outside, village people carrying their goods to the market to sell, horses and carts trotting happily by. Children of all ages, playing in the rain, dancing, prancing and splashing in muddy puddles, this almost makes the god smile. Almost. The children laugh, high pitched laughs, their faces lighting up as they continue to splash.

And then there was Thor. In all his glory….And all his greatness. Pfft. The giant oaf who's tossing that blasted hammer around, like it's nothing but a child's toy. The man in the cage frowns, almost jealous of his brother. Who lives the perfect life? Power, money, people who care about him, people who look up to him! And why? Because he's heir to the throne. Of course, how could the man in the cage forget, his special brother gets the throne and not him! Well, he is far more worthy of the title of king! Not the oaf!

But no, he was trapped. Trapped in a spiral of darkness. Of loneliness. All on his own with nowhere or no one to turn to.

And that was his life now, his new life. Living day and night, in that same cell, eating the same meals every day. A disgusting combination of cabbage soup and slightly stale bread. Served every day at midday and once more at 7pm. And that was about as exciting as his daily routine got.

Wake,

Sit,

Rest,

Eat,

Rest,

Gaze at pathetic people outside of cell,

Stare at oaf of a brother.

Rest,

Eat,

Look mischievous,

Sleep.

And that was it, day in day out. The same. The absolute same.

Until today….

Loki Laufeyson hears someone enter the room, the said someone stepping a metre or two outside his cell.

And suddenly a deep baritone voice spoke up.

"I need your help, but if you betray me…I will kill you."

Loki, who is sat on the floor, smiles, the corners of his mouth edging upwards.

And finally he says.

"What do I have to do?"

….

Urgh. This is terrible. But I was bored. And this is the result of my boredom. Oh, at the end when Thor's talking to Loki ^ I don't know If I got what they said right, you tube's not working on my laptop at the moment.

Anyway. Leave a review if you like, I would be very grateful!
