A/N: Alright, decided to pick up another SWAC FF after a long drawn out hiatus.

Disclaimer: I don't own SWAC, although I do own this story.

Sonny sat down on one of the red futons that were neatly situated around the middle floor portion of the dressing room that she shared with Tawni. She breathed out a long, drawn-out sigh in the seemingly empty room. Of course, leave it to Zora to suddenly poke her head out from behind the ventilator front , which was conveniently located at the upper-left corner of the wall besides the door.

"Why the long sigh, Sonny?" Zora cast her face in a sad clownish expression as she craned her neck in the direction of Sonny.

Sonny was no longer startled by Zora's impromptu appearances. Without even turning her head, she simply replied, "Oh hey Zora. And nothing…don't worry about it."
Zora hesitated for a brief moment, shrugged her shoulders, and closed the vent cover so that she was withdrawn from view. She figured she was better off elsewhere, Sonny needed her alone time. She continued crawling through the vents, intent on wrecking havoc on whichever one of the Falls cast members her eyes would find first.

When Sonny was positive Zora had left, she slowly let herself sink into a pool of memories, each undeniably filled with feelings of Chad. Ever since the talk with Gilroy Smith on his retarded "Gotcha with Gilroy Smith" interview show, her relationship with Chad had never been the same. It had been easy for both of them to say, "I like you", yet the problem was Sonny had run away from the situation. Part of her wanted to pretend the whole damn thing never happened. It was the sort of feeling you get when you don't want to lose what you know. If she could just mange the courage to talk to-
At this moment, Tawni had stalked into the dressing room, and fiercely shut the pink door closed. Her eyebrows were knit together in frustration as she angrily applied her Coco Moco lip gloss. "Stupid Portlyn and her stupid 'I'm so hot with my watermelon green Versace dress so I get to win the Best Dressed Red Carpet Tween Award'! I can't even sue Versace because someone murdered him like ten years ago!"
When Sonny looked up with a glum face, Tawni calmed down a bit. She had learned very recently that sometimes she had to care about other people. So, she reminded herself to let go of her urgent troubles for Sonny. "Alright Sonny, what's wrong with you?"

Sonny opened her mouth when Tawni interrupted. "Wait I know…it's about Chad and that Smith guy, isn't it?"

Sonny nodded her head.

"Listen Sonny," Tawni began, "I know you're not happy right now, but I don't think Chad's happy either that you're not talking to him. I mean, everyone knows you like him by now, there's no use in hiding that you do."

"That's not the problem, Tawni," Sonny responded coolly.

"Well, it's not helping that you're sitting here all depressed like Roberta from What I Like About You," Tawni tried to persuade impatiently. "Got a move on, if you can't talk to him. I don't know why you can't though, I mean, he's already said he likes you, where is the problem?"

"You really don't get it, do you?" Sonny started.

"What am I not getting?" Tawni flipped her blonde hair as she checked her nails for an instant.

"I wanna forget this entire thing ever happened. I don't want to go out with Chad."

"But…you like him, don't you?"

"Yeah….so?"

Tawni positioned herself comfortably on a vacant futon, and her eyes bore into Sonny's deep sienna ones. This would take awhile. Her Portlyn issues would have to wait. "You got a lot of explaining to do. Now."
