A Soul and Maka Story By MeikoSenpaiLii-

Thank you for reading and have a nice day ^_^

And onwards to this fluffily fluff fluff of a story.

Maka hated it. It was unfair and Wrong. First, Spirit her 'Father' had not left her all morning and then Ox Ford beat her on the Mid-Term test; by ONE that, she kept going not faltering on her signature bouncy walk until she opened her locker, number 17.

A single piece of paper fluttered in to her delicate little hands. Turning it slowly her eyes as burned with Scarlett ink and her pink little mouth set in to a grim line, then a wavering scowl.

This was the hundredth time and it finally penetrated her heavily guarded heart. The curly writing of Souls fan girls was used to describe her.

Anorexic ugly worthless…

It went on and on. She could here a far off and muffled call for her in Souls deep gruff voice and she outwardly ignored him, turning on her boot clad heel and speeding out of there like a bird who lost its chick.

Running faster and faster through the maze known as Death City, she frazzled her mind and heavily poured salty water through her viridian eyes, and eventually she lost herself somewhere near the outskirts of the South side of the City.

"Home is faraway now. Where is home? Somewhere in he west side. I'm in the South… Which way is West?"

Muffling a screech with her gloved hands, she sat down heavily by a Jazz Club called The Black Room and a fragrant Coffee Shop called Bobs Rumba Coffee.

" Soul likes Jazz. I should show him this place. Wait… Soul! He's probably searching for me like a mad man! He deserves a better Meister than me."

Through the gloom that signalled evening was crawling in to Death City, a distressed yell surfaced "MAKA!"

"Soul?"

In a fluid motion, Soul scooped up Maka and secured her safely in to his tan arms. Blood red eyes cast downwards he muttered "Don't ever do that to me again. You scared me so much! What if somebody kidnapped you? Or hurt you?"

"I just…"

"Never mind Maks. I saw what the fan girls have been doing. And let me tell you this, Patty was Not Happy. Let's just say they didn't get away with it"

Smiling slightly at the cute nickname she now had that wasn't reminding her of her lack of curves, she simply stated that he could put her down now.

He shook his head quickly and started walking.

"Soul? I can walk you know? Soul? Please let me down? Soul!"

" No. I can't hold on to you forever but it can for now? Can't I? Please? You really scared me! I'd thought it you left and I kept thinking you was going to get mugged or worse."

" Okay"

Instead of responding he just pulled Maka closer and trudged on till they reached their little apartment that only housed 2, since Blair left to her own apartment she got thanks to an overly rich and clingy old man.

Maka finally talked once more breaking the tranquility.

"Soul are you going to put me down now? Im not hungry so I'm just going to bed now… Okay.?"

"Okay."

But instead of letting Maka down he walked in to his bedroom and set her on the bed, still with his arms looped around her slim frame and joined her.

" Soul?"

" Nnrghh"

"Soul come on"

Instead of replying or letting her go he held her even closer which Maka had thought impossible until then and they just slept in even though it was a school day and woke up in a blur of limbs, sweet smiles gracing their faces that complimented each other, Angel face and devil face.
