Levi shifted around in his seat as he looked at his mother, Kuchel who was drinking her apple cinnamon tea. Her black hair was down and her eyes were on the book she was reading. It seemed like an interesting book because she looked like she would never put it down.
Levi went back to sipping his tea but stopped when he looked at the picture of a happy couple; the man with blonde hair and the woman with dark hair. Yup. He remembers going to that wedding. Now they have a brat of their own. He stared at the picture for a while until his mother spoke up.
"Levi?" she asked, her tone soft but firm. Meaning she wanted an answer now. "Is something bothering you?"
Levi gulped. How could he not do this?! Well, he tried everything, it just didn't work. "Mom, my wedding day is three months away…" he started looking at her right in her slim eyes.
"Yes," Kuchel stated as she leaned forward, curious about what her son wanted. If Levi wanted to talk to Kenny about something, she could call him…
"Well, I need practice my dancing," Levi finally said as her eyes widened as she jumped up from her seat. "I was wondering if you could teach me."
Kuchel's eyes lite up. "Of course," was all she said, trying to contain her excitement.
Levi smiled as he walked up to a radio box and put in a CD. Kuchel walked up to him as she took his hand and they started dancing. Kuchel told Levi that he had to always keep his eyes on his partner. Because if he didn't, he might step on their toes.
They danced to many songs; fast pace and slow pace. There was one that was very slow and it seemed sad. Kuchel blinked as she looked at Levi. Yes. She heard this song. It was one of her favorites.
Kuchel smiled throughout the whole song. Her smile growing wider and wider. Thus, making the room brighter and brighter.
Levi smiled as she smiled back, as they continued to dance. When they finished with all the songs, Levi looked at his mom with a smile. "Thanks, mom."
Levi's special day was a joy for Kuchel. She was very excited that her son was going to get married to the person who he would spend his whole life with. Something that she wished she had. But, she was still happy for her son and hoping for some grandkids soon.
Levi danced with his bride to their wedding song as husband and wife, the new couple smiling happily. Soon, the bride danced with her father. Kuchel loved all the songs that were played.
Kenny sat next to his sister, a smirk on his face. "Kuchel, you seem happy," he pointed out as she looked at him.
"Of course I would be! It is my son's special day," she proclaimed as Kenny chuckled while she smiled. Kenny set his drink down, his eyes softening.
"Kuchel," he started as she looked at him in his intense eyes. "You raised a great son."
Kuchel looked down. "Yes. Yes I did," she stated getting up from her seat and walking toward the dance floor. "I've got to dance with my son!" Kuchel cheered while Kenny smiled, a real one this time.
The two of them danced and when the song ended she kissed Levi's cheek. "I'm so happy for you," she whispered to him as he hugged her.
Author's Note: Whoa! First touching story?! There are so many Daughter and Father stories so why not do a Mother and Son story?
