Sun Rise

Wiress woke up cold and to find the spot next to her empty.
She sits up, heart pounding and eyes searching. Memories flood her brain and her panic replaced a little only to be replaced by sadness. She and Beetee are in the capitol for the third Quarter Quell, mentoring. No. She thinks, not mentoring they are going back in the arena along with the other victors! Her panic is back again,
but she manages to calm down enough to look for a note. She eventually finds one under her pillow. Wiress walks over to the night light illumanting the room and looks at the note. She is momentarily destructed by the way the light hits the paper and causes strange shadows across the words. She blinks her eyes and concentrates on Beetee's messy hand writting infrunt of her.

My Wire,
I couldn't sleep and didn't want to wake you because you were sleeping peacefully. I know how few and far between a goods night rest is for you and me both. So if you wake and find me gone, go back to sleep and I'll be back the next time you open your eyes. But if you need me I'll be on the roof.
Love,
Your Crazy Inventor

Wiress snorted at the thought she'd go back to bed and quietly opened the door. She tip-toed out and across to the elevator. Breathing in relief once in the and pressing the bottom for the roof. She smiled in victory of not being caught by there district escort , Pixy Color. If she'd caught her, she'd had want to come with or send her back to bed.
Telling her, "You have the interviews tomorrow and should get all the rest you can , so you can look your best."
Pixy often treated she and Beetee like her children, even though they were adults in there late 30's an early 40's. But they didn't mind because pixy had there best interest at heart mostly...

The elevator dinged and Wiress steped off on to the roof. She spotted Beetee leaning againist the railing looking out over the capitol. She walked over to him and he still didn't move. He was to lost in his mind to knowtis anything out of his own head at the moment. Much how she was most of the time.

Wiress held his hand in her's and squeezed his fingers twice in response and she waited for him to come back to her...
Just like he does for her.
So while she waited for Beetee, she looks down at the Capitol. The bright lights and colorful buildings were an over load on her senses even now.
Many people are still up and about at this hour and with a quick look up at sky she guess it be about 4am or so. Wiress stares at the lightening sky,
at the fading stars trying to make out consilations.

"Wiress?" Beetee's gental vocie breaks her study of the stars and she turns to him.

"What's wrong?" She whispers.

"I am just worring about the plan. That something will go wrong."

Wiress looked at him and nodded.

"I am terrified..." He swallowed and continued, "of losing you."

Wiress felt tears in her eye and she felt like a black pit was pulling at her threatening to swallow her whole. "Beetee, I'm too... terrified...of losing you."

"Wiress?" He whispered.

"I...:she stares into his brown eyes filled with doubt and worry. Guilt over came Wiress because the night of the Quarter Quil annouced she'd be gone into shock. Beetee had to spend to spend the rest of the night worring over her.

She too feels worried and scared, she knows he knows that. But what she also knows is that the fear and doubt won't go away until there both back in district 3. Instead of voicing her thoughts she kisses him.

They poor emotions out in there touches and forget the world as the sun rose over the capitol.
