Prompt: The Smell of Fresh Paint

Sakura let out a loud exhale and wiped the sweat off her brow. She had paint all over her clothes, arms, legs, and face. Her back was aching, and she was pretty sure her neck would never be the same. A mischievous smile spread across her face.

It was all worth it.

She glanced over at Sasuke and immediately frowned. He was sweating, just like her, but he didn't seem to have a single speck of paint on him!

"How do you do it?" Sakura demanded placing her hands on her hips and simultaneously making sure the paintbrush didn't touch her clothes.

"Do what?" Sasuke asked turning to her and squinting in the bright sun.

"Manage to paint all day and not get a single speck of paint on you?" Sakura huffed. She blew a piece of hair angrily out of her eyes.

Sasuke simply shrugged. He turned away from Sakura to put the finishing touches on his side of their project. Because his back was turned, he couldn't see the devious smile on Sakura's face as she walked casually to the paint bucket, dipped her brush in, moved towards Sasuke, and promptly painted a strip across his arm.

He shot a glare at Sakura. In one fluid motion, he grabbed his own paint bucket and turned it over on Sakura's head painting her orange. To add insult to injury, Sasuke smirked, uttered a "hn," and turned away from her.

"You little-"

"Hey! What are you two doing up there?" An angry voice called up at them.

"Uh oh," Sakura laughed. "Looks like we've finally been discovered."

"What have you done to the Hokage Mountain?!" The man squawked.

Sakura grabbed Sasuke's hand and pulled him with her up the mountain, but not before dumping her own paint bucket on his head. He was now a lovely shade of green.

"Come back here!" The man called.

The ignored him and took to the rooftops.

"Uh, sir..." Naruto's assistant for the day muttered.

"Yes?" Naruto asked glad to have any reason to look up from his boring paper work.

The assistant was staring wide-eyed out the window and said nothing. Naruto sighed and turned around.

He was greeted by the sight of the Hokage Mountain. Except, his face was completely covered in graffiti. Someone had painted "makeup" on him and the word "DOBE" was written across his forehead.

Naruto stared shocked for a few moments before erupting into laughter.

Well, I wanted to do a better job at this, but... Eh.
