I am so brain dead this summer. Everything is moving in slow motion and I am bored out of my mind! This was something I just wrote in my journal after I had to deal with my older brother; you will see the comparison soon…
Loki was pretty much as relaxed as he could have been. He was sitting on the makeshift couch-bed with his headphones in, listening to What Doesn't Kill You by Kelly Clarkson. He had his glass of lemonade at his side, his fan keeping his room at a perfect temperature, and his eyes were absorbing every word of the Hunger Games. Thing were just as perfect as-
"Brother!" Go frickin figure. Loki turned to see Thor standing in his doorway, Mjolnir in hand. Loki didn't have to ask to know why Thor was bothering him at this time of day. It was Monday and just a little after noon. That meant that Thor had just finished fighting class, which meant that Thor had learned new movies that he wanted to try on an easy target.
The wide, pearly smile and excited, sparkling blue etes gave it away, but Loki wasn't about to give away his thoughts.
"Need something?" Loki asked innocently.
"I just got back from fighting class," Thor smiled. Loki wasn't easily impressed.
"And?"
"I want you to come wrestle with me!" Thor scoffed as if it was the most obvious ting in the world, and on some level, it was. Loki put on his upset face.
"I wish I could," the lie slipped through his lips naturally, "but I'm in the middle of my summer reading you see," he held up his book to emphasize his statement. Thor raised an eyebrow at the younger.
"Summer just started!"
"Which is why I'd like to get it done now." Thor crossed his arms in a motherly fashion.
"Loki, I have lived with you for 17 years. We both know that that is a terrible lie, as good as you are at it."
"Good, then we understand each other," Loki muttered, already engulfed in his book again. Thor rolled his eyes and plopped himself down on the edge of Loki's couch. Loki ignored his as he read his book. Within a matter of seconds, Thor was snoring on his shoulder. Loki knew he was faking it die to the loudness of the snores.
"Yes?" Loki asked as he looked over his shoulder to the bored Thor. Thor opened one eye to look at his brother.
"I'm bored." Loki rolled his eyes this time.
"Go play with Volstagg or Sif; I'm busy."
"No you're not," Thor stated as he grabbed Loki's book and tossed it across the room towards the closet. Loki closed his eyes and rubbed them in frustration.
"Why did you do that?" Loki asked in his I'm-seriously-about-to-give-up voice. Thor on the other hand took this as a good sign.
"Because I'm bored."
"You told me already."
"Then come and wrestle with me."
"Give me my book, Thor."
"You may have it once you come and wrestle with me."
"I will not wrestle with you!"
"You don't have a choice!"
"I DO WHAT I WANT!" Loki shouted and stompped over to grab his book. He sat back in his spot as Thor once again rested his head against Loki's shoulder. Just s Loki got back into his book, Thor began his fake snoring. Loki closed his book and carelessly threw his book on the floor.
"Give me five minutes," he sighed. Thor bolted up and ran out to the wrestling ring with a WOOPY-DO! Loki walked into his bathroom and grabbed the bottle of Asprin before heading out to the ring. Relaxing on a beautiful Monday? Yeah, right…
Like it, love it? Review please! I'm working on some other story ideas for other Marvel characters, so be on the watch out for that! Love all of y'all!
