Running

".............even spencey needs someone to run to! plese R&R"

He couldn't take it anymore. He needed to see her now. He ran out of his office, and into Hotch's. He bluntly explained the situation, and Hotch agreed to let him go. Reid didn't even bother going to his desk, or get his coat. He needed to get out of these offices now, and he was oblivious to all the stares around him.

"Hey kid! Where you running off to?" Morgan yelled. But Reid kept running. He ran out of the parking lot, onto the streets and sidewalks, and past various stores. After about 20 minutes, he started looking around for the store called 'Austin's'. Once he found it, he smiled. He ran into the store, and looked around for the familiar face.

He smiled when he saw her face, and once his eyes met her's, she smiled. They both ran up to each other, and met half-way. Austin and Reid broke into a passionate kiss, and Austin's hand dwindled into his. They were in their completely own world, and the world around them seemed to have stood still.

For some unknown reason, Reid started leading Austin outside- never once letting his lips leave hers. Her eyes wandered around her new surrounding, and her lips stopped moving when she saw the sight of the surroundings around her.

"Merry Christmas." Reid whispered in her ear as Austin looked around with a wide grin.

Snow- it was everywhere! Austin had seen snow before, but none like this. This snow was pure- whiter than an angel and fluffier than a cloud.

Reid moved closer to Austin and took her hand. "Turn around." he instructed. She did as she was told, and gasped. Standing in front of her, was a horse-drawn carriage with a coach sitting in the front seat- waiting for them.

Suddenly, Reid pulled Austin into his arms, and walked towards the carriage. She laughed as he placed her on the carriage, and he hopped on behind her. The two lovers kissed as the carriage rode around the small town, and the snow fell down. Reid started singing carols, and Austin listened intently to his beautiful voice as she curled up in his arms. Despite the cold weather, Austin felt nice and warm in Reid's company, and soon became a little too comfortable. Reid must have, too, because before they knew it, they were both sound asleep as the city spun around.

Of all the evil things in the world, its the sweetest of moments you remember the most. And this was no exception, for this would be a night neither of them would soon forget.

".........just a really short change from the angst i normally write. hope it didnt suck!!! please R&R!"
