"Berno, are you ready?" Bianca asked after the friendly eagle, Marahute dropped an Australian boy, Cody off at his house and flew her and Bernard back in New York at the Rescue Aid Society for their wedding.

"Yeah, I'm ready, Bianca," Bernard replied as he and his soon to be wedded wife held hands along the way.

When the two mice were ready, they walked down the aisle to the mouse minister, who addressed to the soon to be married couple, "We are gathered here to unite this man, Bernard and this woman, Bianca in the bonds of marriage."

Bernard and Bianca smiled up at the minister.

"Bernard, do you take Bianca to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the minister asked the groom.

"I do," replied Bernard.

Turning face to face with the bride, the minister asked, "Bianca, do you take Bernard to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do," Bianca answered.

With the minister's permission, both mice exchanged their engagement rings and addressed to the wedding goers, "And by the power invested by me, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The married mice kissed and the crowd cheered.

After the wedding, the chairman excused the married couple, so that they can rest. So, Bernard and Bianca walked home across the street within arm's reach.

Although, they looked both ways when they crossed the street, their peaceful walk was immediately cut short the moment the semi-truck drove close in Bernard's path.

Alarmed, Bianca sprang into action and pushed Bernard out of the way because since she remembered the time when he rescued her in Devil's Bayou, Louisiana and the girl, Penny, Bianca did the unthinkable: She returned the favor.

"Thanks, Bianca," Bernard said breathlessly, "If it weren't for you, I would've got run over."

"Indeed, let's go home, Bernard," Bianca replied as she and her husband sauntered in their house hand in hand.

The End

I dreamt about the final scene in this story when I was still eight years old in second grade, Spring 2006.
