I am not the kind of girl, who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion

Alli came over my house on March 6th, 2015 with an envelope. She was shocked. When I asked her what was in the envelope she gave it to me. You are invited to the wedding of Elijah Goldsworthy and Jenna Middleton. I felt a tear streak down my cheek. I knew he would move on eventually, but I just wasn't prepared. He was the only person I truly loved. It broke my heart knowing he was marrying the girl who stole my first boyfriend.

"I'm not going." Alli told me, when she saw how upset I was. "Can I have the invitation then?" I asked, not sure what I would do with it yet. She nodded, wondering what I would do with it. The wedding was in exactly 3 months.

All month I had debated on whether or not I should go, but the day of the wedding, I knew my answer. I put on a dress Alli had loaned me, and started to drive.

I sneak in and see your friends

Adam looked a lot better than he did in high school. I heard that he is now dating Fiona Coin. I don't think he liked Jenna, or that Eli did either. I felt like I needed to do this. If he still choose her, I would leave him for good. I just needed to know this is what he wanted.

And she is yelling at a bridesmaid, somewhere back inside a room

I peered into a room, and saw Jenna yelling at Fiona. I felt so bad for her. I don't even think they're really friends. The ceremony was about to start, so I took a seat in the pews. Eli was standing at the front of the church. I couldn't tell if he was upset or nervous.

She floats down the aisle like a pageant queen but I know you wish it was me you wish it was me don't you?

Jenna was always pretty, but now that she was in a long white dress, with her blonde hair pinned up, she looked even better. Everyone's eyes were on Jenna, but mine were on Eli. He wasn't even looking at Jenna. He was looking through the front pews, he almost saw me, but the priest started to talk before he could notice me.

I hear the preacher say speak now or forever hold your peace there's the silence, there's my last chance

I stand up, and I'm not sure if I stand up to run away, or to object to the marriage. No matter what I stood up for, I was halfway to the door, and getting faster by the second. When I made it to the door, I looked back. Eli was gone. I didn't know where he went, but I hoped it was after me.

I ran to my car, and just sat there, leaning on the car. Tears streaming down my face, when I felt someone's hand wipe away some tears, I looked up and saw Eli standing there. I smiled up at him and said "I'm sorry." He replied, "Clare, don't be I love you. I knew that, and I still almost married her." "Almost?" He smiled and said, "Yes, almost." We kissed as passionately as we did in high school.
