"I…" Teyla stopped for a moment searching for the right word. "I fold," she said finally placing her cards face down on the table.
"One down, one to go," Sheppard said with a smile turning his attention towards McKay.
McKay sat very still staring intently at his cards, most likely trying to calculate the odds of his hand winning.
"McKay," John asked after a couple minutes had gone by. "This is poker not chess, either you have it or you don't."
Rodney glared at him for a moment, then pushed some chips towards the pile in the middle. "I call."
"Well, then can you beat a flush," Sheppard asked laying his cards on the table with a flourish.
McKay looked at Sheppard's five clubs and then back to his own hand. Slowly, he placed his cards on the table.
"Does that not beat your flush," Teyla asked looking at McKay's cards.
"Yes, Teyla it does," Rodney said with a smile as he pulled the stack of chips towards him.
"Where'd these come from anyway," Carson asked shuffling the cards for the next hand.
"Compliments of Cameron Mitchell," John answered picking up a chip to admire the Pegasus Expedition logo that had be printed on it.
"Indeed," Carson said. "But who put them in the jumper?"
"I don't know but whoever it was we owe them a big thank you," John said.
"Aye," Carson said dealing the cards for the next hand.
As Carson finished the room went quiet as the group studied their cards.
"You are still playing that game," Ronan demanded walking into the cave dripping wet.
