I'm not a hypocrite, dammit. It's not really a song-fic.

In the city of Tokyo, the most underestimated part of the large city was the beautiful scenery. The gadgets, nightlife, and large, flashing neon lights which ultimately made it the 'New York of Japan'. However, unlike New York, famous for Central Park and Madison Square, Tokyo had managed a few rare gems, that made couples all over flock to Japan just to see the scenery, and hope that their love lasted forever.
Sad to say, most of the people that were there only lasted for about a week as couples. But in the rare case, that isn't what it came down to with one Mamoru Chiba and Usagi 'Usako' Tsukino.
Said people were lying in the grass, watching clouds slowly roll by, arms behind their heads. For this, was true love.
"Mamo-chan, I have a question..." She turned to look at him, and he raised his eyebrows.
"Tell me what's on your mind, Usako."
"Well...I sometimes wonder what would've happened if the Moon Kingdom had never existed...would we still be together? I mean, we probably wouldn't have even existed, and then Chibiusa would have never been born an-." She was cut off by his lips.
"Usako, don't philosophize anything. I don't know what would happen—and I honestly don't care. But Usako, I love you. When I'm ever in a bad mood, I take a deep breath and I look in your eyes, and I feel like a new born child whenever I see you smile."
"Mamo-chan...you're my hero..." She said, and poked him on the nose, and giggled.
"And you're my heroine." They linked hands, and kept their eyes on the clouds, which ironically was exactly where their heads were.
"Before I met you, Usako, I had a closet filled to brim with skeletons and ghosts of my past. But it's empty now, and you helped empty it."
"Gee Mamo-chan, just keep being corny." She stuck out her tongue, and he chuckled, kissing her on the cheek.
"I know, Usako. You're my sweetest sin."
The star-crossed lovers, in their own world, stared at the clouds as the world passed by. And, at the end of their day, neither cared as long as their hands were still held and they were side-by-side.
True love was never this omnipotent.
