The Real Reason Behind the StarClan's Greed

The StarClan used to exist as Gods, powerful beings that could not be defeated. However, there was a woman whom they revered, so they killed and slaughtered and stole money to offer the one they considered a Goddess. Everyone else was just another insect beneath their feet. And so they found themselves eating souls to become stronger and please their Goddess, but she was not pleased by their actions. They had wished to win for her and offer her the world by killing others.

Soon the last of the StarClan, WhiteStar, met the legendary Sword God. Despite the fact that it displeased his Goddess, he had heard that the powerful Sword God followed the Path of the Warrior and that he was the Goddess of Fire's companion. WhiteStar wished to be at the Goddess' side, not the Sword God. WhiteStar did not care about the Angel of Fire that stood by the Goddess' side however, because he knew his Goddess held no romantic feelings towards her Weapon, but the Sword God posed a risk that WhiteStar was unwilling to take, so he hunted and ate souls, not just for the money, but for his Goddess that his Clan had followed for many years, until she put them down for their greed.

WhiteStar promised himself as soon as he killed the Sword God, he would stop eating souls, but that was not to be. When he was faced with the legendary Sword God, the one he lured out by killing many people, he was defeated brutally. He wished for his Goddess and she came and kissed him goodbye. With a strong resolve, he wished that his son, BlackStar would meet his Goddess and win her love. He knew it wasn't likely, but there was a reason, WhiteStar figured, why they could sense the Goddess of Fire's soul when it was hidden, and very few else could. For when their Goddess chose to hide, no one could find her. The StarClan could sense their Goddess' soul when no one could. It set them on a high, to serve as a warning that their Goddess was near and kneel to in respect. For she was the most powerful Immortal to exist, as well as the most beautiful.

The StarClan believed that the Goddess of Fire was more than just a Meister, no she was their dual-wielding sword Goddess that would defeat anyone that got in her way. She was beautiful and powerful, from the time she was born, to the time her hair turned silver with black Lines of Sanzu. She was greater than The Lord Death himself, with 27 Lines of Sanzu, all meant to keep her power in check. The StarClan had always revered the Goddess of Fire and that continued for all their generations, until they were completely wiped out and the last Son of StarClan did not even recognize Amarantha as his Goddess, the one he should kneel, bow, serve and make her love him. No BlackStar was a disgrace to the StarClan, loud, obnoxious, dumb, all things none of the former StarClan members had been. BlackStar may be able to sense Amarantha's soul, their Goddess' soul, but his parents who watched him were disgraced and disgusted with their son. He did not properly worship their Goddess, instead only seeing her as someone to defeat. You could not defeat the undefeatable and there was no point to try.

Their Goddess was the only exception to their fighting rules. Never were they to ever try to hurt their Goddess. They loved her and worshiped her because she deserved it after everyone she had to put down, including those Witch sisters of hers, of whom the StarClan had always tried their best to wipe out, in hopes of pleasing their Goddess. And for every Witch they killed, their Goddess always praised them. Perhaps they should have learnt from their mistakes and only killed the witches for their Goddess, but they wished to please their Goddess in all ways, so they would slaughter and they would kill everyone for their Goddess no exceptions. Not even Lord Death himself would have been exception to that, unless their Goddess commanded strictly otherwise, but the StarClan doubted that. Their elders remembered when their Goddess has to defend Lord Death and how she had proclaimed him as weak and not fit to be Death. They remembered her scorn for Lord Death.

It almost disappointed them that she took a favoring to Maka Albarn, Soul Eater, Elizabeth Thompson, Patricia Thompson, Death the Kid, BlackStar, and Tsubaki, but they remembered that their Goddess always had a reason for what she did. So they continued to worship her in the stars, always loving her. When they first saw their Goddess' chosen ones, they wondered why she chose them. They were so far beneath her….they would admit the kids had some potential but they would never reach the status their Goddess had. They would never be Immortal, only to be killed by another Immortal.
