It had started on the day that they'd formed a band, and in its own way, music can draw people closer.
Adrien now found himself enjoying a day focused on just hanging out with his friends, a day that for once was relatively free, and he couldn't help his joy as he chatted with everyone."
"Hi," Luka smiled as he took a seat next to Marinette, "Sorry that I'm late."
"It's fine." Alya spoke laughing, waving it off, "We're just glad that you could make it."
"Yeah," Nino shrugged, and Adrien felt so happy just to spend time with the four of them; it felt surreal to have a new friend somehow fill in the cracks of their friendship and make their group seem even more complete.
"Hello," Marinette answered Luka with a bit of a wave, and Adrien couldn't help jumping in and greeting their older friend, himself. The only way that their group could somehow feel even more complete is if Ladybug were to drop by and say, hello.
"So how's everything today?" Luka asked, leaning back, just perfectly relaxed among the rest of them as if everyone had known each other since they were babies.
"It's going well." Marinette glanced over and smiled at Adrien, making him feel more welcome among his suddenly much more clear for the day at least schedule. Her warmth and kindness had the ability to make anyone feel much more welcome and at ease, especially since her stutter had stopped about a few months back.
"Yeah, I'm so excited to spend time with you guys!" Adrien chorused enthusiastically as he glanced at four of the most important people in his life. Truly, to have a day to spend with them all was incredible!
"Me too." Luka smiled, "I got tickets for this weekend to go to Jagged Stone's concert; do you want to go with me?"
"Definitely!" Alya gave a thumbs up; everyone quickly agreeing to go as well. It sounded like a blast; Adrien would sneak out if he had to, just so that he could go. His friends were worth it every time especially if he didn't get completely caught up in the idea of squeezing some alone time with Ladybug out of the mix. He knew better since his last time trying that than to squeeze some time out randomly to spend with Ladybug.
He'd rather wait until they had plans than push it and hurt everyone in the process; he couldn't believe that he had to teach himself that the hard way, but either way, the lesson was learned, and he was just glad to spend whatever time he could with his friends.
The Jagged Stone concert was just a lucky bonus anyway.
