Fighting for popularity? Does it happen at your school? Especially in junior high! When do they start this 'popular' sort of deal? Probably from books, shows on TV... Here's a story about a popularity fight at a school that can ruin 7 years of friendship.
Lexi, when she was in elementary, she was a 'nerd' in elementary school. All she had been a friend, which was her best friend. She wasn't exactly the nerd, but she was smart. Her nose always buried in her book. She tried to be social, she was actually social, but she was a 'nobody' compared to everyone else. Her best friend was very popular in elementary school, always texting to her just friends (not best friends). Everyone changes going up to junior high, even maybe just a bit! It's probably because they are more mature, and wanted to start over their life. Without embarrassing themselves so of course they change! So as Lexi moved up to junior high she was determined to make her junior high years totally different. But she went to far, she wore lots of makeup (not that's its ugly, it was just because it was unappropriated for middle school), she wore high heels way to high for school (not like FREAKISHLY high, just way to high for a middle schooler), she brushed her hair every second she had time, and fuss about her nail polish. She tried to be sassy, and she was really sassy without really knowing she was (because she was used to be sassy), and she was actually pretty popular. Oh and her best friend Roxy. They have been treating like DIRT. So pretty much they are not best friends at the moment. Roxy, last year she was the nice girly girl popular type. Now she's also the mean popular type ( she's still girly girl, except she's MORE of a girly girl). Roxy has been exactly like Lexi. And the competition for the beauty pageant is going to be in a week, it's going to determine which person is going to be the most popular in the school...
