The End.
And there's no promises of peace or of happiness
it's time to let go of everything we used to know
-
When everything is over and done with, there is a strange feeling that swells up inside of her.
Bella Swan was never one for underestimating emotions; she usually took them as they came. She never did take any time to understand.
Bella Swan had never felt like this in her whole lifetime.
Happiness?
She laughs at the thought.
Bella Swan was always sort of content.
But Bella Cullen was finally happy.
-
They'll still live in the haven behind the trees.
The wolves would always follow them, even if they had decided to move.
Those wolves were willing to follow them to the ends of the earth.
And somehow the metaphor seems too realistic, and Bella wonders if they'll still be willing to follow them until the end of time.
well as long as she had the beautiful creature rocking back and forth in her arms.
go to sleep little baby
whispered lullabies touch the angels ear (if you listen closely you can hear her snoring.)
And Bella fills up with love and joy as the angel sleeps happily in her arms.
And she smiles, because maybe she was no longer able to fall asleep herself,
but she admires the sound of another lullaby being hummed in her ear as her other angel holds her tighter to his chest,
as the world goes on around them.
-
And all along this is what she's been waiting for.
That sense of hope, joy and happiness.
She's read about it in all of her books, and heard about it many times.
but never had she experienced anything quite like this.
And so she knew this was it.
maybe her adventures with trouble weren't coming as fast to an end as she hoped,
but with her bronze haired angel holding her tight,
and her other bronze haired, chocolate eyed baby girl sleeping in her arms,
surrounded by her family.
she was going to be o.k.
Those chapters in her life were finally over,
And she would now close her book for good.
She had always underestimated the story book endings,
she always doubted that anything would end the way she wanted it to.
But she cant really say that now,
she just knows that nothing ended the way she expected.
That human life of hers was over, and so was Bella Swan.
That story was finished.
and now a new one began to write itself.
So she sat there, smiling into her husbands chest with her baby in her arms
and she could almost hear the sound of the type writer ding,
as the last sentence in that life was finally written.
And they all lived happily ever after.

(and if you listen closely you can almost hear the sound of books closing all around the world.)
