Ariel's Epilogue

Now free from Prospero's reign,

And from Sycorax with her cane,

I now am happy to go,

Not fighting any more foe,

For those long hours three,

You have watched them and me,

You've seen attempts at murder,

And how people try to go further

Than they can. But right now I'm stuck

Here with you but with luck,

You will bring your hands together for me,

And set me free.

A great tempest you have witnessed,

And you've watched through trials of fitness,

Now to close this show,

And allow me to go,

So I ask you to clap and cheer,

With no traces of fear,

For there is nothing left to mend,

As at long last, this is the end.
