The morning light filtered through the window in the dark room. I turned over and shivered in the cold. It was another nightmare. The same one I've have every night since last Saturday.
A princess and a –Grandma? – white haired woman rode away on w hite horse. A red haired man with a jewel incrested in his head followed. He stopped and looked at me. His eyes glinted as he shot a fireball at me and…
"Wake up! Hey! C'mon! Can Hyrule depend on such a lazy boy?" I fluttered my eyes open and looked up. A blue…. Puffball… Wait…. A fairy! A fairy is here! I shot up and looked longingly at it. The fairy spoke. "Finally! I've been calling for you for over an hour! I'm Navi the Fairy." I just gapped at the fairy in astonishment. A fairy. In my room! Here for me!
Navi just blinked at me. "Have a name?" I shook my head vigorously and said, "Uh, yeah. I'm… I'm Link." Navi smiled. "Pleased to meet you! Now, get up get up! We have to go see the Deku Tree!" I blinked slightly, but did as she said and walked out of my tree house.
I looked out from my small porch and saw a green haired girl with a green dress the same color a my tunic run into my yard. "Hey Link!" I smiled and waved. "Hi Saria." I climbed down the laddar and walked up to her. "What's up?" Saria gave me that beautiful smile of hers. One that would make even a Deku Shrub cry. I loved seeing that smiled everyday. "I'm going to the Lost Forest later. Wanna come?" She asked. I sighed. "Can't. The Great Deku Tree wants to see me. Maybe later?" She nodded. "Sure."
I looked back when I walked off. I went up to Mido, who was blocking my way to the Great Deku Tree. He put his hand up and said. "You can't get through!" I sighed angrily. "Go away, please." He stuck his tongue out. "You need a sword and shield at least, buddy." I sighed and stomped off.
I grumbled as I walked. "Stupid Mido. Always getting in my way. I wish he could just go to–" "HEY!" Navi exclaimed. "Don't cuss!" I blinked. "I wasn't gonna say hell, Navi." Navi fainted.
