This is a Oneshot! I got really depressed for reasons that I can't say on the Internet! Now I just listened to a song and was like, "OMG TOTES DIGGIN' DEATH!" So yeah. This is a Tragedy fic but it gets better! Trust me! (slight ShikaSaku but nothing major)

It had been two months since Uchiha Sasuke had been tied with chakra strings to the Rokudaime, Naruto, and watched Haruno Sakura get killed. Blood filled his gaze whenever he recalled it. Ever since, he had been swimming in endless guilt.

No one was affected more than Ino and Shikamaru though. Ino lost her best friend, rival, and fellow kunoichi to death. And Shikamaru? He had nearly killed the Uchiha if it weren't for Naruto.

"YOU WERE THERE! YOU COULD'VE BROKEN FREE OF THE STRINGS AND KILLED THAT GUY!" Shikamaru had uncharacteristically shouted.

Sasuke couldn't reply to him.

Two more months went by and Sasuke had visited Sakura's grave every day. Everyone stayed out of his way, remembering it was "that" time of day. He put a different flower on the stone each time, courtesy of Ino though the flowers were delivered through Shikamaru since Sasuke could actually handle him.

The Nara still seemed to hold a grudge on Sasuke but seeing how the Uchiha truly felt about his former girlfriend, he did whatever he could to help. Once in a while, he joined Sasuke at Sakura's grave. Deathly silence would overtake the cemetery but neither would notice.

One day, Sasuke received the flower from Shikamaru but the Nara had a mission so he couldn't join him. With his head down, Sasuke walked to the cemetery and placed the flower on Sakura's grave. He stayed there for about ten more minutes in complete silence and was about to leave until a voice behind him said: "Sasuke-kun."

He whipped around and saw a ghostly Sakura, green eyes and pink-hair standing out like a beacon against her ghostly form.

"Sakura," he whispered.

"Stop visiting me. It's making me feel sorry for somewhat enjoying death. Neji and Itachi keep me company." She drifted closer but stayed at least three feet away.

"Itachi?"

"Of course. He said to tell you the path you chose turned out to be right after all."

Sasuke lowered his gaze and saw the pale hand of Sakura's on his shoulder.

"We'll meet again one day. Hold confidence."

She lifted his face off and kissed him, although he didn't feel a thing except a gentle breeze across his lips.

After another smile at him, she disappeared.

Sasuke only visited the grave on the day she died from then on.

200 or so years later

"Forehead Girl! That was my lunch!" Ino chased after her friend.

"Har har! Catch me if you can!" Sakura ran faster.

They ran around Konoha High countless times until Ino turned the other way to intercept her friend. Sakura noticed and began running backwards to keep an eye out for her best friend. It was working quite well until she ran into something...or someone.

"Sakura," the someone said and Sakura frantically turned around to see Sasuke.

"Hey! Have you seen Ino?" Sakura asked, slightly out of breath.

"No."

She looked into his eyes, and he hers. Immediately, pictures started flashing in her mind. Getting stabbed in the heart (gross), watching him place a flower on her grave (aww), and her ghost form kissing him.

"Sasuke," she whispered.

"I remember everything," he stated and looked at her with what Sakura identified as longing.

"Me too. I-"

Sasuke kissed her, full and hard. She slowly relaxed into it and replied with just as much passion.

"We got a second chance," she said.

He smiled, truly smiled, and lowered his lips to hers in pure satisfaction.

This was terrible and short but I had a great song and "OMG DEATH" moment so here. Please R&R although I'd prefer not to have flames! Tragedy's been appealing to me lately.

Please R&R yeah!
