My name is Chastity Elise Moonshadow, and I'm the only daughter of an ancient and wealthy wizarding family. My parents are Lord Milliardo and Lady Regina Moonshadow, both independently wealthy in their own right. Since my parents don't have to work for a living, they have always lavished attention on me, giving me lessons in all of the arts and an early start on the practice of magic. Needless to say, it wasn't even a surprise when I got a letter of invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
But Hogwarts wasn't the only school courting me. I also received two other invitations: from Beauxbatons—the all girls' school, yuck!—and an exclusive fine arts academy of witchcraft called the Royal Witch's Academy of the Arts. I always wanted to be a singer, a dancer, and an actress, and from an early age showed great proficiency in all three fields. Also, because I'm half veela (half each from both my parents), I was born with long, luxurious forest green hair, violet eyes, and a perfect complexion, and I could put any man under my spell. Needless to say, this was a great asset in the arts.
However, I eventually decided to attend Hogwarts, because it produced all of the great witches and wizards, and I didn't need any help becoming a great artist. Year One drew close, I had purchased all of my books and supplies at Diagon Alley, and the only thing remaining was my wand. This, of course, was tailored especially by a wand expert, who came to see me for measurements in my home. Olivanders is for mudbloods and plebeians. But when the wand-maker returned with my wand, I was incredulous—dragon fang with a core of mermaid hair—I had never heard of such a wand before. But there was no denying the affinity of the wand for me, and I accepted it and tucked it into a petite leather holster my parents had given me as a congratulatory gift.
Clearly, something new was coming to Hogwarts.
