Have written anything for Yu-Gi-Oh lately; so let's have us some KaiJou! (Can you guess which half of the couple is addressing the other? ;D)

Title: In The Words of A Bachelor's Button

Let us reciprocate
Each other's innocence
Found in the fearlessness of our declarations
And then have repaid
The intensity of the other's raw emotion;
To be rewarded each day
With the latter's face and expressions;
To revel in being
Sole instigator and witness for unique reactions;
And in future review
These recordings in warm satisfaction.

Let us go on;
If only to make worthwhile
What we've faced down for
This bitterly-won arrangement.
For although we defy the gods
And all else
In our persistence,
There will be no desire
To revoke our current positions:

Survival was made irrelevant
And logic overridden
Long ago by this fury's birth and its
Unyielding existence.

A/N: Gomphrena globosa, otherwise known as the globe amaranth, is commonly called a bachelor's button. Its Chinese name (千日红)can literally be translated to "A Thousand Days of Scarlet", leading it to signify "undying", "unending" or "immortal" in the language of flowers. As seen in the poem, the male I had in mind is emotionally retarded; so it would be perfectly like him to gift his intended with something this directly offensive but obscurely (*ahem) sentimental. (Fury, meanwhile, is taken as in "passion".)

And oh; if you don't understand the poem, feel free to tell me and I'll explain. Figures I'd get rusty after a while. (*shrugs)
