'He knew'

He walked through life without any sin at all,
he was the one who was tempted but didn't fall.

Brought down to earth to life a human life,
he dealt with anger, pain, anger strife.

He had a secret that nobody knew,
a job he was sent, that nobody could do.

Something he said his disciples couldn't understand,
how could they know about a nail pieced hand?

Don't think he didn't struggle with what he should do,
he had the power to save, that he knew.

He knew the trails, he knew the pain, yet he knew
from his death the whole world was to gain!

He prayed to God on the night of his arrest,
struggling with faith the devil was to test.

dragging him off they treated him worse than a dog,
yet he knew the worst was still to come...For he knew all along.

He stood before Cesar so blameless and pure,
never a thought of anger or temped by sins lure.

He walked through the crowd as they spit on his face,
he knew he was Innocent yet made a disgrace.

He knew the time had come to be nailed to the cross,
he would bled as his father cried for his loss!

They tossed for his robes throwing dice at his feet,
then the world started to tremble as sin gave in to defeat!

He was scorned by you and me, Nailed to the cross for the
whole world to see! He was killed for you and me, the spear
in his side, his last breath, so we could be free...

So we could be free...
