"Oh, come on! This is getting to be a little bit ridiculous don't you think?" Rina murmured.
There was shuffling in the bushes, and it was starting to annoy Rina. Her hands shook nervously as she took out her dagger. The princess of Arcadia was going insane, and everything was not going the way she planned. "Why can't I just travel safely?" she asked herself.
Faeries peeked out of the treetops. "Rina! Rina! What's going on? Is everything okay?" one of the faeries asked.
Rina nodded. "Everything is okay, Ariana," Rina lied.
Everything wasn't okay, and assassins were about trying to kill Rina. The faeries supported Rina and Arcadia.
"Come out, right now!" Rina commanded.
There was a sturdy man that walked out of the glens of the trees. "Who are you?" Rina asked.
"I'm Raav. I happen to run the assassin group over in the Great Elements area," said the man.
"Great Elements?! Oh sweet Arken, when did you folk betray Arcadia, one of the wisest kingdoms in Alfalfa?" Rina asked. The faeries hid back inside the treetops.
'Has the world of Alfalfa gone crazy?' Rina asked herself
It wasn't any matter. Now Arcadia was at stake. But when Rina started to say something, Raav was gone.
"I've got to warn Mother and Father," Rina whispered.
A horse whinnied in the distance, and Rina ran through the woods to it. Her glistening green eyes sparked a little bit of blue, and her raven black hair almost turned into a greenish color. She hoped that Arcadia wasn't in fiery ruins. Raav, whom she had just met moments ago could've sent a detachment to his men already in Great Elements.
Moments later she reached the gates to Arcadia, and the guards let her through. She rode up to the castle and ran into the large doorway. "Mother! Father! I just had gained intelligence on something in the forest!" Rina exclaimed. Her parents were startled by Rina's outburst. "What is it, fair daughter?" her father, the King of Arcadia asked.
"Great Elements has turned into a bandit camp! There was a man named Raav in the forest. I was hunting some game, with the faeries accompanying me," Rina explained.
"Great Elements?!"
Rina's mother grew pale, and Rina called for a nurse to calm her down as she filled in the details.
"Rina, head down to the soldiers barracks and inform them of this, please," her father said.
"Yes, Sir!" Rina exclaimed.
Rina rode the horse down the winding road towards Arcadia's barracks. She ran into the room and went to the commander's office. "Commander Hol, Great Elements has betrayed the land of Alfalfa," Rina stated.
The commander looked at her curiously. His grey eyes turned black, and his young grey skin wrinkled. "R-Rina, how did you find this out?" he asked.
"Raav. He's a bandit that works there. I was hunting with the faeries."
"Oh, Monsieur Raav. I've had problems with him in the past."
Rina looked at Commander Hol with concern. "What are we going to do, Commander?" she asked.
"Well, we need to prepare for battle," Commander Hol replied, "I will send a detachment to Krilne, for Commander Kreane."
"Affirmative!"
Rina went back up to the castle and sat down at the table looking at the map of Alfalfa, stumped.
