Angel's Blade: Zero Chapter
A woman in her mid-twenties was surrounded by an army if hell's soldiers. Her squad of angel mercenaries was taken out an hour ago, leaving her to defend and attack by herself. The well made armor she received before taking the mission was now all beaten up with multiple scratches. She looked up at the high moon that was now blood red. That's when she knew that she was running out of time. She stood up straight and opened her mouth, but because of the fear running through her veins, she could not speak a word. Minutes have passed and she calmed down
"O, Lord…how many are my foes? How many rise up against me?" she finally said to herself. She wielded her two short hand daggers and raised them above her head.
"Arise O, lord! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw and break the teeth of the wicked!" she recited as she brought down the daggers to the ground, piercing the ground beneath her feet. With that a wave of light was emitted from the daggers knocking down and killing the first three miles of demons. She raised her left arm to the air about to recite another psalm but a red light shot down from on top on a tower, turning the woman to stone. A woman walked in, crushing the skulls of the dead beneath her feet, wearing on a black roman stola with blue skin and two white horns. She smiled as she walked over to the stone statue of the angel and touched the face of the statue with her hand.
She said to herself," Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent and disconcerning if he holds his tongue," she then turned to the army," you have done good, now feast and drink wine till your hearts consent!" Then a minute passed and the army began to disperse. Once the army was completely gone her face got closer to the angel encased inside the stone. She then caressed the face of the statue.
"Now look at you, your pretty face has a very ugly and unsightly look upon it," a single tear slid down the cheek of the statue," and don't cry, I'll take very good care of you…along with the others."
