Honestly, I wrote this drabble as a what if end takes over natsu permenentally, but retaining natsu's feeling (but amplifying them to a level which makes him look worse than it actually is) and lucy doesn't know.
A deep breathe she never thought she held in was released by Lucy, the female looking warily at the mirror in front of her while various houseworkers did her make-up. Today was the day she'd get married. For most this would be the best day they'll ever see to live, but for her it isn't. This was all forced upon her, she being pushed into this position via her weakness.
Come with me, and I won't hurt any of the fairies.
That demon that had taken over her friend's mind, the one who smirked as he trapped her within his rugged arms, gave her no other choice. It was either this or a complete genocide of everyone she holds dear.
E.N.D, the fire demon, played a game with her heartstrings, and easily won. He grabbed the spirit mage by her arms, dragging her along as he conquered Alvarez with his demons, and made her his new author as Zeref laid to die.
Be mine, only mine.
It wasn't long before he was crowned the new emperor, took the crown and made it his. His followers, the demon of hell that once belonged to his deranged brother, joined along. No human was safe except for her, and safe isn't the exact word she'd be used.
No human was safe except for her, and safe isn't the exact word she'd be used.
Once everything is done, a knock is heard. The door opened. Some of the demon maids walked with the blonde till they were at the grand door of what was once a church. There stood Mard Geerd, his expression painted stoic (but the slight hint of annoyance was there).
Begrudgingly, but not being show on her face (trying to hold onto the last bit of hope that natsu might be there within etherious, that one day they can wake up from this nightmare), she didn't quarrel when the raven led her to the altar.
Lucy walks and walks, and the clock ticks as she felt doom crawl upon her spine.
TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK
And when she stood next to the demon, she felt her hope slip away.
