"Harry, Harry wake up!"
"What do you want?"
"Harry, it's me! Wake up"!"
"Ron?!?!" "Shhhhh! Harry, be quiet," Ron hissed.
"Oh sorry," apologized Harry. He put on his glasses and looked at the clock. It was 1:12 am. He went over to the window where Ron was waiting and opened it wider, as softly as he could. Ron climbed in and walked over to Harry's bed. Harry then made a quick look out of his window to make sure no one had seen what had just happened and was startled to see Fred and George standing just below his window. They had levitated Ron up to the window.
Harry turned around and sat down next to Ron.
"Well, how are you?" Ron inquired.
"Good, you?"
"OK"
"I'm really glad to see you and everything Ron, but why are you here?"
Ron sighed. Harry looked at his friend sitting there with his head down. He was clearly troubled. What Ron was about to tell Harry was obviously too big to write in a letter.
"Ron?" Harry asked again.
"Well, Harry I came because...well..."
"Well what Ron? You can tell me."
"Well, You-Know-Who is back."
"But Ron I already knew that. That can't be it, tell me the truth."
"No Harry, he's back to destroy you! He is somewhere near this town too! You have to get out, now!"
Harry just sat there stunned. This couldn't be true and yet, Ron would never lie to him. Suddenly Harry heard the front door slam open. None of the Dursleys had been out and no one friendly would be calling at this time of night.
"It's him," Harry heard Ron whisper, "we're too late."
Then, in a great blast of green light, Harry's bedroom door was flung off its hinges and out the window. Someone screamed and then...
Harry bolted up in his bed. His forehead was cold with sweat. His eyes darted to the door and then to the window, but they were both intact and not open. It was two in the morning according to Harry's alarm clock and he could hear his uncle snoring in the room down the hall. Kicking his legs over the side of the bed, he got up and walked to the loose floorboard. Ron and Hermione had been sending Harry food all summer because Dudley was still on his "diet". Harry had kept all the food under the loose floorboard along with some of his schoolbooks. As he put a handful of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans in his mouth he looked at the last letter Ron had sent him. It said: Dear Harry,
What's new? I'm doing great. Charlie almost got his arm bitten off by a dragon though and Mom and Dad are still angry about Fred and George's little "show down" at school last year. I've got to tell you something important, but I think the twins have been reading my letters, so I'll wait to tell you in person. See you in September. (I think we are coming to get you to go to Hogwarts.)
Bye,
Ron
Harry Had been wondering what Ron was going to tell him ever scince that letter
