"Beau, drop him, NOW," I shouted to the 200 year old French vampire. His light brown hair and deathly green eyes were now facing me. Ryan looked scared, and I couldn't blame him.
"Why are you still protecting him, Anna," Beau said to me hissing in anger.
"Because I still love him, and I am still being told by someone to watch over him," I said back to him, my fangs then popped out, meaning I meant business.
"Awe, Anna, you are still showing human emotions. You know how weak that makes you," he said back to me.
"Drop him Beau, or else I will call Matheus here. You know that Matheus won't be too happy, or I can call him. You know that he will be ten times worse with you," I said in a menacing voice.
"I dare you," he said to me before he was grabbed and tossed over my head into a tree. I looked at the person who tossed my vampire family brother into the tree. The person was familiar to me, from his dark brown hair to his brown eyes. Joseph LeBoeuf stood in between his son, who thought Joseph was dead, and me.
"Joseph, I could have taken care of the situation," I told the vampire that was a few years younger than me.
"I know Anna, but when it comes to my son, I want to make sure he is kept safe," he told me. I then walked up to Ryan to check for signs of scratches or cuts, there were none to be seen or smelt.
"Ryan, you okay," I asked with complete concern.
"What are you? How long have you known that my dad was alive? Is my mom alive too? Who else knows about my dad," the questions came pouring out of his mouth.
"She's a Halfling," his dad answered the first question. My eyes shifted around now refusing to meet Ryan's.
"I've known your dad for two years now, and no your mom isn't one of us," I told him answering the rest of the questions.
"Your grandma and grandpa," Joseph answered.
"Which is why, when I met them for thanksgiving, I was very nervous and was desperate to leave there," I told Ryan.
"How do they know," he asked.
"Your grandpa is a vampire, he is the one who turned me," Joseph told his son.
