Disclaimer: I do not own Camp Rock or Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. I do own this story, and this original title which I think is pretty awesome!
So how many of you out there think this is the perfect name for the 3rd movie? I mean, if the last one was "The Final Jam," the only title that makes sense as a continuation of a finally is an encore! Ya get it? Well I liked it...
Since no one's really sure if Disney's going to make a 3rd movie, I decided to try to write one myself. I know other authors have tried, but I noticed that if their stories were really turned into a movie, a majority of them would be in the PG-13 category, if ya know what I mean.
Which brings us to this story. I'm going to try to write my version of the 3rd movie how it would be if I were a Disney writer. Only difference is that I'm not going to write this like a movie script or musical; it'll be a story.
Enjoy! :)
CAMP ROCK 3: ENCORE
"Thank you Los Angeles! Good Night!"
Connect 3 had just finished their last concert on tour before summer starts. Even though they had just performed a three hour concert, the brothers couldn't seem more awake and excited than they were as they walked into their new tour bus. Some would argue that it was the adrenaline rush from the concert, but if you knew them personally, you'd know that the real reason they're so happy is that they're spending the whole summer at their uncle's music camp, Camp Rock.
The three boys basically melted onto their couch once they were inside. All of them had almost dreamy looks on their faces while smiles threatened to show through. Needless to say, two thirds of Connect 3 were thinking about who they'd be seeing in less than twenty-four hours, while the other third was, well...preoccupied...
"I can't wait to get to Camp Rock and make a bird house!"
"Dude!" Nate started to say very annoyed, "You got a bird house last year! Remember?"
"Yeah but the birds in that house need a neighbor!"
Nate gave up and let Shane talk. "Whatever Jase... I'm just happy to have a drama free summer with my girlfriend; and the sooner I go to sleep, the sooner we'll be there," Shane went on as he stood up from the couch.
"Yeah, me too. You guys have no idea how hard it was not seeing Dana for a whole year!"
Shane stopped dead in his tracks and glared at Nate.
"Oh, right; sorry dude."
"Yeah, you better be." Shane rolled his eyes at his younger brother.
The boys went their separate ways for the night; all very thankful that it would be their last night sleeping in bunks on the tour bus.
Settling in his bed, Shane sent a quick text to his girlfriend. Before turning off the light, he lied down and spent several minutes staring at the bottom of the bunk above him. Why? Because taped there, he had pictures highlighting his favorite memories at camp and on tour. Most importantly, he had pictures of Mitchie so she would always be the first thing on his mind when he woke up, and the last thing he thought about before sleep overtook him.
He smiled up at the biggest picture of her and whispered, "Good night Mitchie..."
With Mitchie
"Will we remember...Different Summers" Mitchie sang quietly the song she wrote for Shane last summer.
*Knock knock knock*
"Come in!"
Mrs. Torres poked her head into her daughter's room. When she saw Mitchie focused on her guitar, she stepped fully into the room.
"Mitchie?"
She finally looked up to her mother.
"Mitchie, it's eleven o'clock!" Connie sighed at the innocent look on her daughter's face. "Sweetie, I know your excited about tomorrow, but you need to at least try to sleep."
"All right, fine," Mitchie said as she put her guitar in its case to be ready for tomorrow.
"Good. Now, we have to be there around eleven o'clock and it takes three hours to get there so-" Mitchie cut her off.
"Be up by 6:30 to get everything ready. I know," she finished for her mother as they both giggled at Connie's predictability.
"Good night mi hija," (A/N: Spanish for "my daughter") she said walking out of the room.
"Night m'ma."
Mitchie quietly watched the door close. Finally deciding to sleep she reached to turn her lamp off; before she did, she noticed her phone had a message. She excitedly grabbed her cell to open the new text:
night Mitchie, c u tomorrow ;)
-Shane xoxo
She smiled at the text knowing that in just a few hours, they'd see each other for the first time in almost a year.
Climbing under the sheets, she saw the moonlight shine across her purple room and end at the picture frame on her night stand. She took one last look at the picture as she gently reached out her hand to trace the outline of her boyfriend.
Slowly letting her hand fall she whispered into the night, "Good night Shane."
Now that you've read that, here's the thing. I am beyond inspired to write this story full out, but the problem is that I don't know exactly what I want for the main plots, and I really don't want to screw something like this up. Because of that, I might be posting sporadically, only when I feel like I have a chapter worthy of being posted.
Sorry for wasting y'all's time on my epic author's notes. I'm still on the fence about continuing this story or not, so review or PM me that you want me to continue and any ideas or advice could possibly make you my instant best friend. :)
