She looked out her bedroom window longingly, thinking of him. His tan skin soft to her touch. Blue eyes like that the sky that could transport you to Heaven because he was an angel. More specifically, her angel. Oh how she loved to be able to call him that. It'd been one year since they'd spent that night together in the hotel. It had only felt like yesterday that they'd snooped around together, not planning to fall head over heels in love. She wasn't complaining for she knew he was the best thing that had ever happened to her.

"Spence! Spencer are you up there?" A snooty voice came from the stairs.

"Yeah come in!" she hollered at the familiar voice. The woman opened the door quickly revealing a hunched over figure at the window.

"Really, this is how you're managing your time, Spencer. There are more important things to do then sitting around waiting for Toby to not show up." Spencer could usually ignore Melissa's snarky comments, I mean she had for 18 years so far, but when it came to Toby she got defensive.

"Look, just because you don't have someone to love doesn't mean it doesn't exist." Spencer spat at her sister.

"Just because you love him doesn't mean he loves you back!" Melissa exclaimed with the same tone as Spencer. Just then from the doorway a deep voice protested from the stairs,

"I sure as hell do love her but you wouldn't know about love because you can't even show it towards your younger sister." Seeing Toby stand up to Melissa made Spencer smile from ear to ear. Most of the time he sat back and let them fight it out. She knew well enough that he felt just as defensive about her as she did about him.

"You have no right to just barge into this house uninvited!"

"Well it seems that some of us don't want you here just as much as you don't want me here, lucky for me though, I don't care what you want."

"You're a disgrace to this family Spencer. Letting this monster into our house." Melissa sneered.

"You've let in plenty more." Melissa turned to leave but Spencer wasn't finished.

"And just for the record Melissa, He may be a monster, but he's my monster." Melissa turned back toward Spencer with a disapproving look. She opened her mouth to make another comment but shut it and let as quickly as she'd come in.

"You were brave standing up to her like that Toby!" Spencer applauded.

"Yeah well no one messes with my girlfriend." He pulled her waist closer to him with his strong hands. She clasped her hands together behind his neck. As he began to connect their lips together, she peeked up at his blue and eyes then shut her own falling into the blissful moment. She felt along his soft tan skin with her finger not wanting to miss any spot. At that point she knew that there would never be anyone better than Toby in her life. He was her safe place to land, but more than that he was hers and she was his.
