Goodbye
Sidney walked to the headstone. It formed tears in her eyes
There six feet under the ground was her best friend. SHe hadn't been here since the day of his funneral. She came to say goodbye
~How could he be dead? Why is he dead? He didn't deserve this. It should've been me. God I miss him so much~
"You okay?" Dewey came up behind her looking at the stone where her gaze was at.
"Yeah. I'll be done in a few minutes. Thanks for coming,"
"No problem. We'll be waiting,"
"Okay,"
"Mommy," Sidney turned to her five year old daughter who came beside her.
"In a minute Randi," she bent down to her level. "How 'bout you keep Aunt Gale and your cousin Tatum company? Uncle Dewey is waiting too."
"Okay," Randi smiled and walked towards the gate where Dewey met up with her.
Sidney placed the red rose that was in her hand on the ground.
"Goodbye Randy," she ran her fingers over the word ingraved on the cold stone.

"I'll be right back," she smiled getting up and walked off. She had done what she'd been putting off for the last ten years. She said goodbye.
