Spock stared deeply into the back of Kirk's captain's chair. He didn't know how to say this to the man he's known for years... his best friend... the man he secretly loved. 'You can do this Spock.' He tried to reassure himself; however he knew what he was going to say wasn't logical.

"Captain could you come here for a moment." Spock asked trying to keep his voice from shaking. Kirk's face lit up hearing Spock's voice. He scrunched his face together trying to get his composure back. He swiveled around in his chair. "Of course Spock!" He cheered while standing up. A blush rose quickly to his cheeks realizing his eagerness. "Sulu take over for a minute." Kirk told the man across from him as he followed Spock to a mostly empty room.

Spock stopped abruptly and turned around. Kirk, not stopping as quickly as his friend, bumped gently into him. Spock reached his arms out to help steady the captain. They looked deeply into each other's eyes, before blushing and glancing away.

Spock clasped his hands together in front of him to stop the shaking. "I need to tell you something Captain."

"Call me Jim, Spock! We've only known each other for years now." Kirk laughed nervously.

"Jim..." Spock said testing the word in his mouth. It felt good to him. "Jim... you light up my world like nobody else. The way you flip your hair gets me over whelmed. But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell." Spock took a deep breath. "Kir- Jim... you don't know you're beautiful."
