|[ Liana is the substituted name for the female Hero in "Legend of Mana" I
just
thought I'd get a little creative ^^ ]|
The sun had risen too quickly; which was against Liana's favor, her having been up all night in the library reading. As the young woman sat up slowly, It was noticible that her bones were full of aches as well. She had probably slept the wrong way again, half the night in an old wooden chair was ridiculous, and she cursed herself for allowing herself to do so.
Groaning, she managed to push the covers away, and in doing so a bunch twisted at her feet to create a small knot. Her tossing and turning would have to stop is she wanted to save herself the aggravation of un-doing it. A first, small yawn escaped as she pulled herself from the wall-side cot, staring about the small room briefly before beginning the first chore of the day. After the heavy layer of sheets had been neatly folded, Liana made her way across the wooden floors, every second step causing a sharp creak to erupt among the silence.
The mirror sat idly against the wall, a full body image of herself reflecting as she stood there, dressed in nothing but a large shirt and baggy breeches which hung about her tiny waist. Light brown hair hung tousled past her shoulders in tangles, as equally pale honey-brown eyes blinked. She was a sorry sight now, to many except herself. Whoever was peering in back at her through the glass, was a Hero-someone or...something she had once been to the world. But that hardly seemed the case now.
Author's Note: Readers, this story is based on the Legend of Mana game for Playstation. I did not create any of the original character's names nor did I create anything you see that is placed on the game.
