My Lame Saiyuki Story
Switch note: this is too serious for fanfiction. *shakes head in dissaproval*I -really- don't own Saiyuki. *off side* to tell you the truth... I've never read or watched Saiyuki ever... so you'll be very confused.... R/R!!(--- = memory)
They day was warm and sunny, all was calm, but only because a certain boy was off with Gojyo on some meaningless pastime, such as running around, playing tag, or something. Ah, yes. Hakkai would never admit it, but he liked the peace. The sun rays shone brightly, warming his skin as he lay on the dry green grass. Now the sky, the sky was as blue as ever, very few fluffy white clouds dotting it nicely. Cho hakkai smiled to himself, deep green eyes closing slowly, masking the usual blurriness of it all. He wanted to stay like this. Alone, feeling secure... but he knew he couldn't, and that tore him up inside, yet he continued to smile, savouring the moment. ---"You want to stay...." A strong masculine voice played in his mind over and over, as he re-lived the moment that made him question his very existance. It was around the time the reached the paradise, the time when finally, Hakkai felt at peace. Sanzo knew. He even confronted Hakkai about it. Ah yes, the talk... "You want to say...." Sanzo sounded depressed, even for him. Hakkai shook his head quickly, and hesitated before he spoke. "No I... I wan't to continue on." Sanzo shook his head mimicking Hakkai, in irritation. "No Hakkai, I can see it in your eyes, do your eyes lie...? Doubtful."--- Cho Hakkai thought about this for a bit. "My eyes don't lie...?" He repeated out loud to himself, opening his deep green orbs and focusing on a single fluffy cloud. The brown haired man smiled to himself while briefly shaking his head in disbelief. "He doesn't know the truth then...... He didn't see my eyes lying that time when I told him I was alright........" Cho closed his eyes again, trying to remember a while back when he had first confronted Sanzo of his problems. It was midnight, The muffled sound of rain pounding on the roof of their cabin, while the sound pouded in his ears, Hakkai struggled to focus on the conversation. "You can tell us, you know. You don't have to hide behind your smile." Sanzo stood up from his spot on the chair, walking over to the window, and staring out through the thick showers outside. Hakkai remembered shivering from the draft in the cabin, and glancing over at Goku, who was passed out from all the sake he had drinken with Gojyo. "I'm not hiding behind my smile." He lied. He straight out lied to Sanzo, making the worst excuse possible. "Now I'm tired, can we continue this conversation some other time......?" He hadn't meant to be rude... but he couldn't help it. Not this time. Hakkai was excused and lay in bed, unable to sleep the whole night. A small sigh escaped his lips, sitting up angrily, Hakkai groaned at the slight pain in his back from laying on the hard ground, for hours on end. He always managed to fall back onto the one question that attacked him for years. "What is the meaning of *my* life?" His deep voice rang out through the warm summer air, as did a following voice, not quite as deep as his own. Sanzo. "You have no meaning whatsoever." "Maa...!" The second voice startled Hakkai, deep green eyes searching for the owner, while finding Sanzo sitting in the shade of an old oak tree. "Sanzo, you frightened me." Cho stood up to his feet quickly, bowing at the younger, serious man. "I could tell...." Sanzo's voice seemed so sure... -never 2 b continued....unless somebody reviews....which is highly doubtful-
