A/N: Part of the surprise I gave you guys for this New Year. As you know, I went all Beyonce and published FIVE new works, this collection of oneshots included. And will be updated regularly.
Anyway, presenting the first of this Oneshots! Installment, I give you: "Focus"
Gaara stared at the four sole grains of sand on his Kazekage desk. He's been doing nothing but that for hours. Temari and Kankuro were already getting worried. Wondering what he was doing, Kankuro walked over to him and placed his hands on his head, trying to read his mind.
Temari stared at him awkwardly. "Kankuro, whatever that is you're doing, it's pointless." Kankuro sighed and walked back to where he was before.
Hours passed and Gaara still did not move from where he was. At that moment, Temari and Kankuro were already going nuts over their brother. Temari, having thought of a 'brilliant' plan, she walked over to Gaara and fanned him repeatedly. He still did not move.
She sighed, "I wonder what's up with him."
"I don't know, Temari." Kankuro got into his thinking pose, then had come up with another plan to get his brother to move. He motioned for his sister to leave the room, just in case Gaara was listening.
Once they got outside, Temari asked. "Now what?"
"How about we do those nasty ways to try and distract Gaara? You know, the one that I wrote when I was 12?" Kankuro pulled out a small journal from his pocket, and handed it to Temari.
Temari started flipping through the notebook, occasionally snickering at a 'funny way to distract Gaara' once in a while. Once she got to the end of the notebook, she nodded. "Great ideas, brother."
"Alright, let's get to work."
They did everything in the notebook. From putting a pink bunny headband onto Gaara's head, to licking his buttcheek (in which Temari certainly didn't). Nothing could make Gaara move.
"We tried everything, Kankuro. He still won't budge." Temari said, slumping to the wall. It was already dark out. They should be sleeping.
Kankuro yawned, "What could make him move, I wonder." Temari pondered on this, until she thought of what wasn't in the notebook.
"I know, Kankuro! How about you sing?"
The sleepy Kankuro suddenly became a lot more energetic. "Great idea!" Kankuro has always been confident that he was very good at singing. Unfortunately, that's not what Temari meant. He took a large breath and-
"BABY BABY BABY OOOOOOHHHHH!"
Windows broke. Babies cried. Lightning struck ground. Gaara took this as the perfect opportunity to move. There, he flicked the four grains of sand to their eyes. In their pupils. The very center. He then watched as his two siblings were crying and screaming in pain. He hadn't been this sadistic since 3 years ago.
He didn't remember the last time he laughed that hard.
Review! Please? Arigatooooo! :D
